A very relaxing indie game made with true love and dedication. That's how I'd describe Retrowave. If you are wondering if you should buy it, well... I'd totally recommend it.

There are 4 main modes to play plus a multiplayer mode. Of course, you can choose whatever dificulty fits you better, having even a peaceful mode if you want to chill listening to vaporwave music in a scenario inspired in the 80's aesthetic. And what's the best part? The vehicles, since you can play with mythical cars from the 70's-80's such as the famous DeLorean or the Toyota AE86.

I don't have words to talk about how it looks visually. Hell, even at the lowest settings it feels cozy and satistying to see. But ot course, the better the settings the more enjoyable it becomes.

And obviously the music is vaporwave and retrowave, thus the name and thematic of the game. There are many recognizable songs of the genre, making the rides more relaxing while you dodge cars on the road.

You can see it's an indie game since the devs thought of a reasonable price: 3€. I consider it really fair, since it's a "little game" that can give you tons of hours of gameplay. If you think that the full price is too expensive, on sales it costs less than 1€. That's up to you if you decide to buy it during sales or for full price, but I'd say that this is one of the cases where paying full price for the game doesn't feel like being robbed.

So, if you love the vaporwave and retrowave aesthetic, want to play a game to inmerse in that feeling and relax your mind, Retrowave is the perfect option for you
