As a new player, the monetization of this game is also extremely off-putting. I have no issue paying for a game, expansions, or DLC but when you're selling what most developers would consider quality of life updates there's a major issue. As of June 2020, you would have to spend nearly 30,000 Crowns ($300) in addition to the game base in order to catch up to veteran players, or commit to paying for a monthly subscription.

I will update this review in the future, but as of right now its a no for me.

PUBG devs sued Epic Games due to Fortnite's similarity, then implimented various changes that mirror Fornite such as the recently released Battle Pass. Adding more microtransactions while the community has been asking for bug fixes and optimization across all platforms speaks for itself.

A moving storyteller about a man protecting a girl. The characters were great and my choices felt like they actually mattered. Although I really enjoyed it from the beginning to the end, I would not pay $24.99 for it due to the overall length of the game. If you can pick it up on sale, I would highly reccomend it.

Essentially a reskin of the same Call of Duty game you played over ten years ago.

The gameplay follows the same exact routine of countiniously throwing yourself at other players, playing a game of who saw who first. It feels like there is zero strategy to this game other than to equip an auto/SMG and spray.

Outside of the repetitive gameplay, Call of Duty: WWII suffers from a poorly optimized client and blaring historical inconsistentcies. And as of today, the game has been in beta for only 24 hours and hackers are already extremely prevalent. A quick google search will reveal a plethora of cheats readily available for anyone to use.

I do not recommend this game to anyone.

Early Access Review
The free-for-all concept of H1Z1: King of the Kill is great. You start off free-falling over the map in a Hunger Games-esque manner, slowly gathering weapons and supplies for your own survival. All while fending off a surplus of players who long for the glory of being the last man standing.

However the game play feels extremely dated for a game that technically only came out in 2016. Poor animations, hit registration issues, hackers, and an abundance of bugs really hurt this game from achieving it's full potential. And while some may disagree; I do not believe in the sale of RNG based loot crates, with zero option to purchase individual skins directly. Akin to Overwatch or even CS:GO.

I do not recommend playing this game until a full release.

Don't Starve is a Tim Burton styled, sandbox, horror-survival game developed by Klei Entertainment. It features an single player story, multiple explansions, and a surprisingly ammount of depth. All while being supported by the community through various mods. Don't Starve is a learning expierience. You will die, and die again. And after countless deaths you will slowly develop your very own strategy to surviving your first winter. Only to learn you will need to develope a whole new strategy to survive the next season. I high reccomend Don't Starve to all fans of indie, survival, and sandbox styled games. 8.5/10
