- How many Ultramarines does it take to screw in a light bulb?
- None. The Codex Astartes specifies how the bulb should screw itself in!

Only here are shaved armpits and a dazzling smile not a cosmetics ad, but proof that someone just crawled out of the ground.

A good game with an interesting conclusion to Prophet’s story, although in my opinion the plot is weaker than in the second part. Gameplay-wise, it’s a repeat of the second game with a bow and a couple of new weapons. As for the remaster, it’s fine, the graphics have improved, and I didn’t notice any performance issues. I recommend playing it, it can offer a couple of enjoyable evenings.

If FIFA and Fight Club with bad netcode had a baby, that would be Rematch

Sans is so obsessed with bone puns that his attacks are basically dad jokes. If he taught a class, it’d be BONE CALCULUS

Red Dead Redemption 2 set out to show the fading phenomenon of outlaw life and the dying world of the Wild West under the heel of encroaching civilization

Alongside its sometimes laughable realism (horse balls that shrivel in the cold) and interesting mechanics like cleaning your weapons, your horse, or even yourself, the game has, in my opinion, pretty boring shooting. Honestly, I don't know how they could have improved it, because it feels kinda sluggish simply because there weren't many guns back then (though historians and reenactors might disagree with me).

What really grabbed me was the story – it's very adult and thoughtful

The characters are written excellently, the scriptwriting is top-notch, and the happy ending in the epilogue warms the soul (if you don't know what happened in the previous game). The plot starts slowly and sort of wanders around without really focusing on the game's core theme – outlaws and the West. At first, it's more about showing the daily life of nomadic people, but that's not a bad thing at all; in fact, it's quite engaging. I liked it. By the middle and end, though, the game offers a level of storytelling you rarely see, maybe in some Jack London book. Seriously, in this game you can complain about anything, but not about the script. In my opinion, it's beyond all praise.

Bottom line

I want to say that I liked the game, despite the boring shooting. The attention to detail in the world, the animations, the main and side characters – it's all top-notch. I advise everyone to give it a try and a chance, even if it doesn't grab you in the first 10-15 hours.

Outlast 2 is a decent game overall, but it falls short compared to the first one in terms of atmosphere and horror. The good: they added healing and crawling mechanics, and the religious themes are interesting. The game also leans hard into gross-out horror (feces, gore, childbirth, etc) which can be unsettling.

But the bad outweighs the good: it’s not scary, just annoying, endless chases from unimpressive monsters and constant flashbacks of the protagonist’s past break the tension. Instead of dread, you get frustration. The first Outlast was terrifying; this one is just exhausting.

Fans might still try it, but don’t expect the same level of horror as the original.

If Far Cry usually drowns you in endless bases, collectibles, and map markers, Blood Dragon is the antidote. This bite-sized spin-off ditches Ubisoft’s infamous checklist open-world formula, delivering a tight 6-hour burst of 80s neon, synthwave, and cyborg-dragon chaos. No filler, just lasers and absurdity. Neon-soaked landscapes, cheesy Van Damme-era action homages, and a soundtrack ripped from a forgotten VHS tape. The gameplay is classic Far Cry, liberate outposts, go wild with over-the-top weapons, but without the grind. Even taming laser-eyed dragons stays fun because, well, it’s over before it gets old.

You’re Sergeant Rex "Cyber Commando" Power, a hero named by a 33-year-old’s doodle. A B-movie mashup of rogue AI, mutant beasts, and dialogue so gloriously dumb it’d make Schwarzenegger cringe. It’s self-aware, never takes itself seriously, and that’s the charm. No bloated skill trees, no 100-hour commitment. Blood Dragon condenses Ubisoft’s usual excess into a concentrated shot of fun. It mocks open-world tropes while delivering just enough chaos to leave you grinning, not groaning.

A rare Ubisoft gem that’s better for being short. No time for filler, just pure 80s-action homage with cyborgs, synth beats, and dragons that shoot freaking lasers. Proof that sometimes, less neon is more.

Outlast + Whistleblower is a survival horror simulator where every step tests your nerves

The plot plunges you into the grim investigation of a journalist trapped in the epicenter of a nightmare within an abandoned psychiatric hospital. The story unfolds through scattered notes, voice recordings, and encounters with characters whose motives teeter between madness and cold calculation. Sadistic scientists, patients warped by twisted realities, and clandestine experiments weave a web of intrigue, where truth is buried beneath layers of paranoia. Whistleblower expansion deepens the lore, introducing new characters whose fates intertwine with the main narrative, revealing darker shades of the game’s bleak universe.

Gameplay revolves around survival through threat avoidance. There are no weapons or chances for direct confrontation, only evasion, hiding, and desperate resource management. The night-vision camcorder becomes your sole ally, but its limited battery and the need to activate it in pitch-black darkness turn every decision into a stress-fueled puzzle. The sound of footsteps behind you, creaking doors, and sudden screen distortions quicken your pulse, forcing your mind to dissect every ambient whisper.

Whistleblower amplifies tension with intelligent adversaries capable of adapting to your tactics. Their AI doesn’t just pursue it studies, herding you into traps or cutting off escape routes. These are not mindless drones but calculating hunters, their behavior forcing you to rethink every move.

Atmosphere is the game’s crowning achievement. Oppressive corridors pierced by shards of light from shattered windows, a dissonant soundtrack that cuts to silence at critical moments, and environmental details hinting at past tragedies create a thick haze of dread. Even after the credits roll, the game’s imagery lingers in your memory like echoes of a half-remembered nightmare.

Outlast + Whistleblower is more than horror it’s an exploration of human fragility in the face of madness. A title for those willing to trade comfort for adrenaline and replace cheap scares with psychological precision. Recommended for genre enthusiasts seeking not jump-scares, but a slow, methodical descent into the abyss of anxiety.
