You played as a narcissistic manipulative sociopath hipster selfie fiend in original.
Well, now you're a psychokiller/kidnapper.
Don't buy unless in a bundle, for a dollar.

What a game! Makes you feel and think and takes you on Indiana Jones adventure. Stumbles a bit towards the end, but it's alright. Well worth the money.

50 million Deadly Premonition with peanut-butter, jelly and cheese. And peanut-butter and jelly is also cheese.

Poor man's 'Titan Souls' which in turn is poor man's 'Shadow of the Colossus'.
So you get the drift.

Controls are a bit difficult to get used to since they change in every minigame and I ran into some bugs. But other than that great little game made mostly by one person with Construct/Aseprite. Doesn't get more indie than this.

Lobotomized baby of Recettear and Isaac. Not gonna recommend this one. Core mechanics are solid, but ther's not much more. First hour is great but then you realize - that's it. You're doing grind loop. Ther's no meat on the bones. This should have been in development for another year or so, to work on characters and story and expand the world. You can get both games this borrows from for less than this, which I encourage you to do.

This is essentially not a bad game for what it is, but it might not be what you expect.
It is not an RPG. You make no decisions. There is almost no story and 'characters' are infantile caricatures seemingly written by someone who grew up reading reddit/twitter instead of literature.
Let me illustrate it with an example of actual conversation that takes place in this game:
"...
...
- I farted.
...
- I know.
...
..."
Basically it is an causual game of cards/dice with some rudimentary RPG/tactic elements.
There are 20 levels and you can clear one in about 10 minutes.
At some points you have to grind by replaying previous levels to level up your team.
Was a big letdown for me because I thought it would be more like FFT or Disgaea. It is not even Kartia.
I do not reccomend it for current price of 18 EUR.
Everything about it looks like it was made for smartphones to be played for 20 minutes at a time, while on bus or train, so 5 EUR would be more fitting.

I do reccomend this game, but with a note that its not for everyone. If you have an aversion to 'walking simulators' or Telltale games, this is probably not for you. It's more of a stream of cutscenes with some interactive parts inbetween than a game. It's about two hours long audio/visual experience with influences from such film directors as Lynch and Kubrick. Think of it as a movie ticket with some bonuses.
