Playing this game has made me realize that I am bad at every Roguelike ever made.
Great game otherwise! Also the soundtrack is unreasonably good

Optimized Version and Bugs Fixed! Except for the fact that halfway through the second level the game will just crash and you can never play past that point

(i haven't finished the demo yet but i think i'm close to the end)
a pretty promising demo for one of my most anticipated games of the year after i saw it at a nintendo direct last year. a lot of elements here are pretty great - the art is gorgeous, the music is great, the controls are pretty intuitive, and the world is interesting. that being said, it does have some issues.
first off, the fact that there is only one save point in this pretty long demo makes some things VERY tedious. maybe this is normal for metroidvanias, i dunno, i don't avidly play them, but from my experience, i feel like a couple more in some given areas couldn't hurt. there doesn't need to be a save point every 2 seconds, but a couple here and there, especially before bosses, would be nice. having to run back to where you were each time after dying from the same save point gets annoying after a while, especially for the second boss of the demo. maybe i'm just really bad at this game and this isn't an issue at all, but i dunno.
also, i feel like the ice stuff sometimes works and then sometimes doesn't. the sliding can be fun in one moment, but other times, it just feels a bit clunky.

overall, very promising and i'm still definitely interested in checking out the full product.

This is genuinely the worst video game I have ever had the displeasure of playing. There is barely anything redeeming about it. It gave me a couple laughs, but that's about it. It's tedious, annoying, hideous, and an absolutely horrible time. Literally anything in life that you could do is more meaningful than playing this game.
