TL;DR: If you want a game that gives you a really high replay-value, tons of fun, customizability, seemingly endless amounts of mods, and sheer randomness, this is it. If you and your friends had to buy just one (online) multiplayer game that would last you a while, this should be it.

A fantastic, beautiful, emotional roller-coaster of a game that I'll probably replay at some point.

I envy the ones who get to walk and hike around the wilderness again for the very first time, and really getting that sense of adventure. You get a lay of the land pretty quick, but it is the story and the carefully crafted characters and dialog that gets the show on the road in the long run.

Everything from the small gimmicks , including the possibility to order the photos you took from the disposable camera, and the fact that all locks have the code 1234, to some of the really good plot twists and punchlines, this game is a worthwhile experience. It's not that challenging gameplay-wise, but that's not the point. It's the story and the environment that matters here.

Oh, and do yourself a favor: Set off an evening to play this in one stretch. It's worth it.

The way this game has toyed with my emotions is what really stuck with me. From the adventurous feel in the very beginning, to the few spooks midway, to the total paranoia, and ultimately leaving me kind of empty, expecting some big sort of conspiracy unfolding, when it was sort of simple all along. However, there are some frustrating open plot holes.

Bioshock Infinite brings alot of new, enjoyable gameplay elements to the table, as well as an intelligent story. Including an ending which has spanned hour-long discussions with fellow gamers. Combat is way more varied than in previous installments, as varied use of vigors are necessary to beat the harder difficulties. Be sure to catch the DLC as well, as it is a good (but not entirely necessary) round-up to the entire Bioshock-series.

Like Arkham Asylum. Only bigger, better, faster... oh, and you get to play as Catwoman.

Fantastic art direction (the game looks like it's made out of paper), responsive game mechanics, and a little brain-teaser. A nicely done platformer, where the player has the ability to change the gravity in four directions (up, down, left, right) at will. Wish that the game was a bit longer, more challenging, and a bit speedier. Due to the fact that the character moves kind of slow, it turns towards a casual platformer. Best played with a controller. 7/10

It took a long time for me to jump into the Arkham series, even though alot of friends has recommended the series to me like crazy. The biggest reason for not listening to them initially, was because I was very unfamiliar with the Batman-universe. Therefore, it was a positive surprize to me when I discovered that Arkham Asylum does a great job with integrating new players to the Batman-universe. I loved the characters, the story, and the ethical dillemmas surrounding the establishment of a facility such as the Arkham Asylum and Batman's "no killing" rule.

Gameplay-wise, the game was INSANELY enjoyable. Since guns are a no-go for Batman, silent takedowns or hand-to-hand combat (with a scent of gadgets) is the way to go. Both are very-well done and innovative, and other good open-world games published after Asylum has clearly grabbed a few ideas from the game's combat and sneaking system.

One thing I remember especially well from the game is the Arkham Asylum itself. The level design (both estethics and technically) is impressive, and I love how the Asylum alters as the game progresses.

Writing this review a few months after having played it, I all of a sudden want to play it again. 10/10

The third installment in the Arkham-series. Has much of the same gameplay-feel as the previous installations, and sadly, brings very little that hasn't been done before to the table. The origin story, exploring various character motivations in the early days of Batman, feels unnecessary; The story tries to explain origin story elements that doesn't need explaining IMO. The first two installations already did a great job with that through character trophies and audio tapes. Still gets a recommendation bc it features the same great gameplay from the first two games, though with several not-so-grand modifications. 5/10
