Early Access Review
Some thoughts on 5 years too late Smite 2. (season 2 was PEAK)

Why are the voice comms on by default, at least with console players?
Most matches are not even loaded as 5v5.
Gem pricing system is odd. Having no skin chests in the game (yet), is also making it incredibly expensive to buy a skin (please don't buy skins yet).
Based on the videos the Hirez guys are making, about how cool the UE5 engine is, makes me only think how inexperienced they must be with the updated engine and are learning on the fly, which doesn't make me feel any more confident. Nevertheless, the game has seen improvements, hopefully going back more to the smite 1 style and in power consumption.
Items are busted, balance isn't there, more fun with builds for sure with the variety, but some items were not meant to be together with the int+ad mix.

-Maxing out everything except, post process, shadow quality, effects quality, aa quality and then using fxaa seems to have the best effect, especially post process on medium making the game look better imo. Shading is also a little too dark.

Smite 1 will be superseded prob in open beta and ranked will most likely be disabled in smite 1 afterwards, so that'd be the optimal time to hop on to smite 2 or leave it in the dust (like my archon thana).
