i hope you know that you were a great friend, despite your flaws
im sorry you had to go through so much misfortune
but you were a fun guy to be around, genuinely

i didnt expect you to pass on so soon
but fate has a cruel way of subverting our expectations

ive had you in thought i just didnt know where you go
thought you were taking a long break but apparently the worst had came
and now youre gone

im sorry for the times i wasnt there to help you
i wished we could've talked more
or well gotten more connected

i hope youre in a much better place now
you were just an unfortunate kid that suffered unlike myself, who i feel terrible knowing that you werent so lucky between us, though that did highlight how strong you were, in all aspects

but hopefully you've earned your rest
just know, if youre somehow seeing this
that i always considered you as one of my great friends
who were always there for me
perhaps you still are, ha

oh well, i should go be going now
shouldnt talk to someone whos at rest now
