I've been playing Arma 3 since 2015, but I stopped in 2021. Throughout all my time playing, I primarily engaged in the Altis Life roleplay, and it was incredibly fun. If I were to have written this review when I first started playing, I would have recommended the game 100%. The game's community back then was vibrant and full of great people who added so much to the experience. However, things have changed significantly. Today, it seems like the game doesn't have the same quality of players anymore, which significantly detracts from what made it so enjoyable. If you're asking whether to download Arma 3 now, I'd suggest you skip it. The game itself is fantastic for those who appreciate a deep, tactical military simulation, but the community aspect, which was once a highlight, has sadly diminished.
