I would recommend this game but the constant disconnects and bugs make the game mostly unplayable. At least in the public lobbies. I will update my review when it gets fixed

I would give a mixed review if that would be possible but now I must give a negative one. The game itself is good and fun. The only downside is that it is not worth the price. You can complete the base game + devils in two hours. Also the achievement for playing two or more hours is just a slap in the face. If you can get this from sale then it is totally worth it!

The game is in a really good state even though it is in early access. The controls feel good and the game looks great! Some polish is ofc needed but it is acceptable in an early access state.

I wish there could be a mixed option because this game has so much good in it and lots of potential but I cannot recommend this game in its current state.

The fighting mechanics are really nice and the game looks and sounds great.

The game lacks some polish especially navigating menus with a controller. It just doesn't feel responsive and the cursors default location is usually in the middle of the current menu. The achievements are too much copy and paste and not very fun. And the biggest thing is the bosses and their unique attacks. The game really needs an indicator when the enemy is doing a special attack so that you really have have a change to do something about it. Also losing over half of your hp to a single combo is not very fun especially when each match is only one round. There should also be some way to break block (grab for example). Now it is mostly just waiting an opponent to punch and then punching back if you block it.

The game has some serious potential but it still needs some work. Hopefully the game gets the attention it needs. I understand that this is the developers first game but that really is not an excuse.

Good gameplay, good music. good waifu, good headbanging, torments are little repetative so a solid 5/7 experience

Even though it has some good moments I cannot recommend this because it is hardly a finished game. It feels more like a demo that could be a complete game someday. Not sure what the devs were truly after because it is divided into two parts and they don't fit well together here imo.
