Get ready fine tune your platforming skills because you're going to need them. The premise here is that you and your friends have to escape Hell, and to do that you'll need to traverse and climb diverse and difficult topography in true parkour style to reach Heaven.

The catch is that you're linked together with up to 3 other players! The links have a fixed length, so all jumps and climbs must be synced or you'll most likely fall! Chained Together is littered with clutch moments and require all players to be perfectly synced or you're going to regret and rage at it later. Suffice to say, more players require higher levels of sync. Group Voice while playing is an absolute must (or don't, and get a feeling of that pure Agony).

The game has very varied areas from a very iconic starting area that you'll probably come back to more than once (unwillingly), to skyscrapers, Asian-esque towns and Temples to name a few. The higher you get, the more varied the puzzles and different challenges become - all the more aggrevating if you miss a jump and fall.

The difficulty here is brutal, especially on normal or above. Normal provide some checkpoints, but they are very far apart. Beginner allows you to teleport up to the highest point you've reached. If you value your sanity, this is the difficulty you should start with ^^ Prepare to rage and hate the WASD skills of your friends as they'll drag you down to Hell, while you aim for Heaven.

Simply fantastic. The fact that you actually record video footage and see the result afterwards is extremely entertaining post-fact. You can even save the video to your computer and watch it back later.

This is some excellent 4th wall breaking game that's best enjoyed with friends as you delve into the underground to capture scary monsters on tape and try to make it back to the surface to upload the proof to SpookTube!

While arcadey, in the brief game time there wasn't much interesting weapon choices and felt like a basic asteroids clone with ugprades. While the game style is basic, the backgrounds and music are nice but doesn't save this one from ultimately not being very interesting. Sidenote: Game has also very strange default controls that isn't standard fare for these kind of games and had to be remapped both for gamepad and keyboard (distinct controls tested).

Seems to lack basic functionality like invite friends via Steam and playing against CPU (there was a news item about this, but couldn't figure out where to click). The interface is yank as all hell, animations are glitchy and the overall gameplay is at the mercy of whatever connection you're on. For higher latencies, expect seeing players teleport all over the map, your inputs reacting way off target and general loss of control. While free, this game clearly signifies to be in early alpha by all accounts, although the store page does not indicate as such.

Matches are played in rounds of first to 5 points, however the score within each match doesn't always make sense. You could win 5 - 4 or 3 - 1 and the round would end. As if that wasn't enough, you'll have to endure 5 rounds of such matches, something that should be opted to be selectable. Why not best of 3, or simply 1 round? 5 rounds of up to 5 matches simply takes too much time. There's also no training mode to learn each character first, which is a shame. Trying to learn characters during a game is not the way to do this.

May be worth to wait until they patch this one up some more, as what's on display is bare bones, finicky and sometimes downright unplayable.

After having bought this game several times over in various versions, the Steam one does hold up very well. Solid frame rates > 60 is a welcome addition. The game's still a master class in storytelling, gameplay mechanics, exciting story and PURE STYLE. No wonder this game is the undersigned's all time favourite game (which may change when P6 rolls around).

Ever wanted to DRAW music? Yeah, that's weird, but that's one of the attractions here - You don't need to know music or scale fundamentals 101 to make something decent. 1bitdragon is a DAW focused on making music quickly, either by just drawing notes as you want, or use various presets to get going. May be too simple for the advanced music makers out there, but still what's here is solid.

The next update will also include a much requested feature: Note hold and more note scales, shifting the DAW in the right direction. Also, everything you make here you can use as you want, however be vary of copyrighted material still.

Get it on sale and don't expect Fruity Loops kind of functionality, as you won't find that here.

Here's a bit of live editing in 1bitdragon to see what this is about

Do yourself a favour. Outside of looking at the synopsis and screenshots, if they tingle your fancy, play the game without knowing anything else. This is really something else, an experience like no other!

20 minutes till dawn continues to free receive updates, and there are now way more content than at launch. With around 10 characters and weapons, the possibilities are, not endless, but still very solid.

If you were annoyed that you couldn't aim in VS, the pixel graphics looked "off" and that the sound effects were lacking, this one's for you. While it doesn't feature different levels, yet, it does have different difficulty levels which are unlocked once you survive a full 20 mins. For 2$ there's plenty on offer here, with many characters, weapons and skills to unlock. If you don't have 20 minutes, you can also select the 10 minute "fast" version, but achievements don't unlock there.

It's also twice the fun of the demo, since that only lasts 10 minutes...Progress from the demo also carries over.
