Ive played other DoW games and especially the first ones well before i had a steam account. i still go back and play them.

The game mechanics seem gutted and bland compared to even the first DoW. The orks feel more half assed and lifeless than they did in Space Marine, and thats quite an acomplishment of failure. I get that they are always "football hooligans" in space as they were originally designed and hell i have a TT ork army but NONE of the units feel alive or as immersive as the 40k books make them out to be.

In the end I almost wonder is C.S. Goto wrote the story and dialouge here.

I went into this game knowing none of the hype. a buddy of mine said
hey this looks great" and i preordered it with no expectations. lots of exploring? cool! sounds fun. nope.

the answer to every peoblem is "shoot it with your mining laser" even mining laser is out of fuel. really?

apparently aliens are everywhere and so are flying robots that are dead set on me not mining. I suddenly feel like every rock is cecil the lion in their robotic eyes.

all of thesse worlds areinhabited by advanced robotic life and odd aliens who have clearly been here long befor me.. but nope ♥♥♥♥ that this world is named steve and i discovered it 15min ago. happy Raziday future inhabitents

ive tested this game on 3 different computers: a G3258 Pentium OC @ 4.3GHz w/ a gtx 950, a 4790K i7 OC @ 4.8GHz with twin 970s in SLI, AND my server tower with twin X5570 @ 3.3GHz (thats 16 processing threads), 48Gb DDR3 ram and a single 970 and none of them can get this damed game to run right. crashes, stuttering, framerate drops... this is bad.

I would say "will improve review if fixed" but this is so badly planned, produced and executed that for the second time ever i wll be requesting a refund. and anybody who looks at my games library will see i have quite a bit of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ games in there.

Old game but still better storyline than most ive seen in recent years, and the mutiple ways to get hrough any encounter is just great
