Okay first of all if you've played any of the Souls/Born games you will love this!
It's just more of all the things you love and most aspects are even better now. FromSoftware has really perfected their formular at this point.
Even if you're no fan of open world games you are able to enjoy this game. You could just ignore all of it and go straight for the main questline.
But I would really advice you to try the open world, there is so so much to explore and find. I'm 120+ hours in the game and still find new stuff in my runs. the level of detail and love in every single cornor is insane!
The typical Souls/Born story, characters and quest designs are one of the best in the entire genre. I really loved some of the characters you can find and their storys and involvment in the story is well done.
The gameplay got a huge upgrade to the previous games. The ability to jump is a huge gamechanger. torrent the spirit horse makes trevesring the huge open world fun as hell!
The weapon and armor diversity is immense and you have so many ways to play the game it's crazy!
Now for the bosses...
They are great! All of them. My only problem is that some of them are reused a bit too much.
But those boses are "sidebosses" from the generel open world or smaller dungeons.
The mainline bosses you can find and fight are so unique and just epic. Their music and their movesets and especially their cutscenes are highlights I won't forget in a long time! The fights you will experience are the most fun I had in a long time in any game.
Right now (2 weeks after release) the game has some technical issues, like frame drops and even some crashes for me but I'm certain those will get fixed.
Overall I had a blast and would recomment to everyone who as a good chunk of time and is able to enjoy some frustration.
9/10 beautiful game probably GOTY 2022
