game has some crazy depth to it

This game is different level of addiction. I play this game with months of breaks at a time. Sometimes even years. Yet I still have 462 hours at the time of this review.

There is no break in the game. When you play CoD or DOTA you're able to finish a match and decide if you want to get water or food or bathroom.

That is not the case with Factorio.

There is always another step to the process that you want to complete. Then you unlock oil and things drastically change. Soon the mall looks like spaghetti with pipes of petroleum appearing in random areas.

But, the researching continues. Eventually, you launch your first rocket. Now you're finished (you think) and go online to look and see what else there is to do and you see videos of people speed running rocket in 90 minutes when it took you 15 hours.. Some players posting about a rocket per minute.

Daunting tasks for sure. But, you decide "Well I hand crafted the end pieces for the rocket. Might as well automate them first and then we will see what happens."

Now it's been 3 days.
You've played 30 hours.
Maybe 1 meal a day? 4 bathroom breaks per day?
Yes. They're bathroom "breaks"
You're running a factory, of course.
Back to work we go, because the factory must grow.

It's not bad

Cities Skylines and Tropico had a love child and this is it.

This game crashes. Often. If you're not willing to spend $150 on ram then don't bother purchasing this game. They have too much money to care about optimization now so why bother with the majority of people that play this game that don't have $1200 of disposable income haha great stuff Cx
