I especially used to play the first DD in the coin-op era and, as I believe for everyone, the go-to move was the elbow smash because it was almost a certain hit everytime and I enjoyed re-play the game for the mainly purpose of hunting the achievements. As I was saying, the first is the one most familiar and enjoyable of all the lot and the changes in the second add just a little in gameplay and locations. It is a bit harder to get the enemies, they are faster, but nothing impossible. The third, frankly, to myself is the Jar Jar of the series, in fact, although I appreciated to introduction of new moves and combos it has been the less entertaining. Thinking that its first appereance was in the '90s it looked like to watch the seminal evolution of an entire genre. So far, my only concearn is about the in-game shops which are useless without coins for buying additional stuff. I would have liked to have the possibility of choosing other characters and get other stuff, too bad.
