New Community manager broke Steam TOS to coerce reviews.

Steam TO: "Do not artificially influence review scores. Examples include: using multiple accounts to leave reviews; coercing other players to leave reviews; or accepting payments or other compensation to leave reviews.

Originally it was positive with the following review, but after the disastrous first ICO rollout and community handling related to it -- see above --, changed it to negative. Original review:

If you are really keen to play a tactical FPS that is more sophisticated (than cod or battlefield), not a simulator (e.g. ARMA) and therefore easier to enjoy, then Squad can be a great choice (alongside the 'original' BF2:PR :) ).

The community so far is great, communicative, however it is generally still young (in terms of communication, coordination and cooperation (except for the players with experience and the exception)), but you can always find some nice squads to play with.

It is in Early Access stage, which means that in spite all the efforts of the developer team to provide more content and cumulatively optimize the game, there is still room for improvement. The game is playable (Alpha 8.0) but will still require further optimization. Also it already offers a decent amount of content, but sooner or later one would start to feel the need of more maps, factions, equipments and vehicles. All in all, it is already a great game to develop game-sense and teamwork, but one can fully enjoy the full option of the underlying framework when the official release is out. Until then, keep up with the fight!
