very very wholesome, for some reason. More so than other similiar games. Might be the soundtrack?

Dont bother with this game. Dev should just go back to giving us more HexCells. But if you're looking for ez cheap games to 100%, then yeah i guess get this game and look up guides for it. I dont see why you'd bother tho since the achievements here arent "rare"

cute and sweet. and replayable after you've forgotten the story since it'd been 5 years since you last touched the game and you just decided to buy/play the sequel except the sequel seems to be a direct continuation of this game and now u need to play this game again to make sense of the intro of the next game.. <_<

If you're expecting something like Stardew Valley or Harvest Moon, you're gonna be disappointed. This is NOT a farming game. This is an exploration game more akin to Animal Crossing or Fantasy Life.

Pros
- the animals are cute. The trees and flowers are pretty. The sun hurts my eyes.
- collectible cats
- exploration (like in skyrim where you gotta do a thing but first gotta stop by and pick up all the herbs i already have 300 of)
- bribery...? expensive bribery
- thankfully, no inventory limit (so far)

Kinda Cons?
- not much customization with the avatar (because apparently you need to look for it ingame? Looks that way so far)


Cons
- controller bindings are weird. X for interact (instead of A). A for jump (instead of B). Can't rebind either
- avatar is ugly as ♥♥♥♥.
- walking is weird. you know those games where your character slides/walks a bit more even tho you stopped inputting directional commads? yeah, this is one of them. I dont understand the reason for it since this isnt exactly a platformer
- borderless resolution has the bottom pixels cut off
- no auto save? afaik anyway
- barter system. with how much stuff is in the game, and lots of traders, this is such a bad idea
- barely any story. No real, smooth narrative. Its more of "go here, go there, do this" and you just have no ♥♥♥♥ idea why or what the goal even is.
- mini map and map needs some work. No legend on the map. Mini map has no options at all (for size, north lock, etc)
-- with such a big map, might be a good idea to allow players to add 1 or 2 custom waypoints/markers then can just follow once off the map
- there's a teleport system but they're all in the middle of nowhere. Need a fast travel between signinficant points (towns and farms)
- no inventory sorting. Filtering works by cycling thru all possible options instead of just giving you a list that you can check/uncheck instead
- some people say it gets good but only after 10hours in or something

Also I don't see the point of tool switching. In this case, it's like the developers just added it for the sake of adding it (and making the experience more painful and tedious). Only reason I could see for tool switching is if there are multiple things you can do to a thing (like a thing that can either be chopped or smashed). But since I have yet to encounter something like that.. well.. yeah.. its only purpose so far that I can see is to make this game worse.


TL;DR: Feels like a game thats still in beta or a game that hasn't been play tested at all. Story narrative would be the weakest point in this game with interface being Would not recommend this game.
