Just like the OG back in the day, the remastered is a great game. I enjoy almost all of the changes with a few problems here and there.

Fantastic game, tons of replayability. If you like Roguelikes and/or Deckbuilder games this is S tier.

Amazing game. Even better after the community showed Sony what we thought about their system. Only downside is a kernel level anti-cheat that doesn't seem to be doing much.

Dragon's dogma 2's combat is amazing, unfortunately though, the rest of the game is extremely lacking.
The story is very bad, feels disjointed and you never feel any connection of any kind to any NPC.
The Side quests are bad and are usually some thinly veiled fetch or kill quest, I appreciate that the game avoids holding your hand by not dropping a quest marker to each and every thing you need to do in order to complete a quest, but a lot of the time I found myself a little lost because I missed dialogue or simply didn't talk to an NPC a second time after taking a quest or advancing it in some way. The dialogue was extremely disjointed or straight up bad at times.

The Dragon's plague system was also a super cool idea with a very poor implementation, as it had no real consequences as the consequences of it can be worked around really quickly.

Most of the vocations are fun to play with. Combat was really fun but became very easy very fast.
Exploration seemed to have no real benefit most of the time as I'd just find a chest with nothing but a couple of sticks or another curative in it.

Most of the monsters felt like they came straight from DD1 with nothing but a graphical upgrade and maybe a few moves here and there.

Over all I'd only recommend DD2 on a heavy sale, Unless you played DD1 and are willing to look past the bad stuff in order to play around with the admittedly very good and fun gameplay system.

Wartales is a fantastic medieval turn based game with light RPG mechanics.
