This is honestly, simply my favourite game of all time. I'm so proud to watch it grow, so i figured i'll write a review for it and show support so whoever comes across it can buy it and have as much fun as i did.

Rimworld is a game like no other. You'll find yourself immersed in a weird, yet not immediately unsettling universe, where you'll live as a concept: You control a group of pawns, who have their own will, and yet you're not tied to any of them. People come and go, die and survive, but as long as someone is still alive you'll live on as the hivemind of the colony. Those pawns will all be unique in their skills, personality, backstories, health, looks, and desires. All of those variables are incredibly simple, yet their intertwining causes a web of complex storytelling that somehow mimics the best of real life. You'll soon notice your people chat, fight, make rivalries and firendships, and fall in love, and before you notice you'll have fallen in love with those fragile, sensible bags of meat as well. Soon enough you'll find yourself distressed trying to keep things together as they used to be. Storytellers are there for a reason, and they won't take pity on you or care for your favouritism. Your colony will get hit by disasters, and you'll need to be smart if you want to get through them. Rimworld is a game that will lift you up, then throw you down... and you'll enjoy every second of it. If you're an introspective type of player like me, trust me, give this game a chance, you won't regret it.
