After playing around 60 hours, I have a bit more to say about this game.

I found this game to be quite time-absorbing to say the least, given these 60 hours have been accrued over the last 2-3 months only. With the many updates this has gotten, and is still getting, which have continually improved and added new content to this game, the scene and gameplay is kept relatively fresh and new. Although resource gathering can be a bit of a grind, no let's say a hell of a grind if you want to get everything, the places you can explore and the many planets with varied environments, flora and fauna more than make up for it.

You can easily get by in the game without an S-class Venator max slot freighter, but hell, why not grind 4-6 hours or more to get 178 million units, and then another 1-10 hours (based on luck) to get the design and the class that you want. IDK if it was worth it, but I was hella satisfied and still am with the freighter I have.

Want some cool spaceships? You get them alright, but let's just say that the chances of finding one are pretty low, dependent on type of system and like where u look. Pretty hard to find a perfect ship, there isnt really one, but you are really spoilt for choice. I mean perhaps the hours of searching for a couple of s class haulers or explorers may put some people off, but honestly you can get by without one.

Lastly, the freedom in this game is amazing. Want to complete the storyline, you can. Want to wander off in the opposite direction to the storyline, you also can. Want to never finish the story and settle down with your tamed rideable pets, sure why not? Want to be a nomad and continually explore the stars, that is an option.
You can basically play this game however you like, and at whatever pace you like.

There is a multiplayer aspect to this, which is quite peaceful I would say. There is no hard competition, no blowing up other people's bases, just relatively peaceful coexistence with other players, or that is at least what I have experienced, and finding friends is relatively easy.

In terms of modding, the game is pretty nice in terms of the developers accepting mods, the general rule is just to not ruin other player's gameplay. Tired of the grind, there is creative mode or some mods which can help you.

Basically, you have a massive universe, and can play however you want.

That is why I love this game, and will continue to play for the foreseeable future.
