It is not a bad game, despite what many people say. It has a good story, though the secondary characters could be more involved. The main issues are that the missions may be repetitive and boring for many people instead of more unique, like the first Mafia, it's all kinda generic. The second problem is that the game is still technically broken even after those years, with many bugs and crashes.

It also has one of the best soundtracks, with artists like: Beach Boys, Rolling Stones, Johnny Cash, Elvis, Little Richard, James Brown,  The Animals, and A LOT of other artists

The great successor to the first game. With a more engaging story, in my opinion. Scaletta and his pals make it even better. There are some new things to do in the city but not much.

The game only focuses on the Main Story, but it's worth every moment of it. The perfect atmosphere, the captivating story and the characters guarantee a great experience. Though the gameplay and combat are very simple it's enjoyable, You can feel that the game was carefully made, even in the small details.

A good entry for those who want to know SMT Franchise

Combining elements from previous SMT games with some new mechanics, Vengeance delivers us the most enjoyable combat that you could have had. You can build your characters and demons easily. If you've got the Mitana expansion it's easy for leveling. The game has a lot of quests and though it does not have a lot of dungeons like previous games, it has a good world to explore.

The story and characters in this game are not very impressive. Even in the new route, the story as a whole is still just ok.

Another hit from Atlus.

Is fantasy limited to the confines of imagination? Would you call it a powerless creation?

Yeah, Atlus cooked again, building upon all they've learned in these last years of SMT games and Persona to create Metaphor, maximizing and improving both Narrative and Gameplay elements. They needed a third pillar, an alternative to SMT and Persona, and Metaphor may be the way.

The game introduces us to a great political story, presenting us with social issues like racism, social discrimination and extremism. The game's pacing, at least in the beginning, is quite slow, but for the most part, you will enjoy the story and characters. The ending of the game feels rushed; they were probably out of time to work more on it. Besides the fact that the story is monotonous and predictable by the end, it would have been great if they had gone off the rails at some moments.

The characters in Metaphor are great, as always in Atlus titles. The game uses a calendar system just like Persona games, the management of time here is not suffocating; you can easily plan which days to spend with friends, go into dungeons, or do other activities.

The gameplay is one of the best aspects of this game; they blended the Press Turn system from SMT games with the combat from Persona, resulting in excellent and very fun gameplay. The archetype system works like Personas, with a class system.

Leveling up is more practical, if you're stronger than the enemies, you don't even have to engage in combat with them; just strike them down. However, you still need to spend some time defeating enemies to level up your character and party. Another thing that bothers me about Atlus games recently is the management of MP and the lack of items to recover it. There are some repetitive dungeons.

Another strong point in Methafor is the great art direction, with some monsters inspired by the Renaissance artist Hieronymus Bosch. The UI is one of the coolest and most beautiful I've ever seen. Great OST, but in my opinion it lacks variety.

Something that needs to be pointed out here is that Atlus should invest more in graphical quality, The game does not impress in the way we expect to see in modern games. Some textures in the game are in very low resolution.

It's a great game. Some people may say that Atlus played it safe by reusing a lot of elements from their other games, but I don't think so.
Metaphor: ReFantazio is the result of years of testing, to know what should be used or not in future games, they risk. They could have been working on new SMT or Persona games, but they risked themselves to create a new IP. It may not have been the magnum opus of Atlus, but it is the first step toward, who knows, a new Atlus franchise. Overall, the game gives confidence that the next Atlus project will be great, regardless of what it is.

A good conclusion to a great game... but at what cost?

The expansion focuses more on combat, with dialogues and cutscenes to answer open questions about the main game. Although some people have disliked this expansion since the original game, I like the conclusion it provides for the story. What bothers me is the number of floors. The answer is about 25-30 hours of gameplay, most of this time will be spent climbing floors, like an extension of Tartarus. It might get kinda boring after some time.

But what bothers me the most is not the gameplay mechanics or the story whatsoever, It's the ridiculous price. You need to purchase the expansion even if you already have the most expensive version of the game.

FFV presents us with a mix of emotions.

The story has its moments, but it's larger than it should be. The characters show some development. Although there are not many of them, they are great.
On the other hand, The gameplay is great. The job system is back and better than ever, allowing you to use abilities from a maxed job in another one.
The game, in general, is more challenging, especially the boss fights. The dungeons are also more enjoyable than in previous games, and the soundtrack is the best so far.

A worthy adventure to be honest.

Here's where a key change occurred in the Final Fantasy franchise, creating a game focusing more on story and characters.
The story is good but not very complex, which also applies to the characters.
The gameplay has some notable changes, the customization is basically the same as the previous titles.
The soundtrack is just as great as in the other games.

Overall the game is good and has taken important steps that the franchise needed.

Final Fantasy III excelled where Final Fantasy II failed, a fun gameplay. You'll get here an enjoyable gameplay with great innovations compared to its predecessors. Now you have the job system, which is excellent here. On the other hand, the story and characters are very simple once again.
