Going to refund this for now.
As others have said, this game has huge potential and the hand crafted world and building system are really good and stand out from others in the genre.
However...
This game runs like absolute trash even with FSR3, all the while having textures that look like fornite. I get it's in early access, so I ploughed ahead because it wasn't unplayable.
The real nail in the coffin for me was the combat system.
I would describe it as half-baked at best.
The animation variety is non-existent, dodges have no i-frames, the AI is nonsense, the skill tree is a bunch of tiny % damage modifiers with some lackluster abilities chucked in, and the whole thing just basically involves spamming attack until the health bar reaches zero. I don't mind bad combat, I played thousands of hours of minecraft, but for the love of god its advertised as "heart pounding action combat" and the way some people talk about it you'd expect more than what is currently here.

Will update my review if this gets improved, but given a whole year of huge patches addressing none of these issues and just adding more content, I wouldn't get your hopes up.

My favourite hand to hand combat in any game
Animations are *chefs kiss*
Very replayable and really rewards practice, quite rarely feels unfair
Multi-enemy fighting is by far the best I've ever seen it done

Probably a really good game, was kind of getting into it, but most of my time was spent trying to fix the game crashing which I have found no solution for.

Also, the data agreement is dodgy af, so that's not great either.

Will be waiting till it's fixed, although seeing as everyone keeps telling me it already is, I don't hold out much hope.
