This game undeniably kicks ass. I originally played in '09 on a CD but recently bought it on Steam for the memories and have no regrets. The price is criminally low and if you haven't played this game in <current-year> there's no reason not to. It's a fun strategy experience that can be enjoyed by players of all ages. It's a completionists dream, most achievements are simple and obvious but there is a certain time investment to 100%.

I played this game 10 years ago and it still holds up today just fine. This entire trilogy is just pure magic and comes as one of the only superhero comic games worth playing. If you're interested in a high quality experience of detective work piecing together puzzles, Interesting combat where batman takes out a room of 20 thugs, and Batman stealthily moving around armed men picking them off one by one in the shadows and a stellar performance from the Joker then this game is for you. I recommended this game when it was in EA because it showed promise but one day development of it just stopped and CW had nothing to say. Then about a year later they dumped a half baked, months old build onto the store to declare they're finished with it. It's not good

Just wow, this game is incredible. I finished the story in about half an hour but there's still another 2 or 3 hours worth of other stuff to do; despite being so short this was a beautiful half hour and I really treasured every second of it. My only criticism is the locked camera although typing "cinemaplz" on your keyboard will unlock the camera and let you rotate it freely.

This game is a beautiful experience of well.. Experiencing beauty and you're dishonouring your family if you haven't bought it yet

I think there should be more VR Survival games. Star Shelter is an example of an interesting idea to fill that gap but it didn't feel fun to me, the grinding isn't very fun and the threats felt poorly introduced. The game is about building a "Star Shelter" which is a small space base made from modular pieces but there just isn't much to do and the tutorial doesn't tell you much. If you played Lone Echo then you will be familiar with the movement but here it feels inferior to that. This partially comes from it being unclear what can and cannot be grabbed due to the graphics being on par with Unturned, this game was a valiant effort to make a fun space survival game but 3 years into early access it just doesn't feel anywhere close to an experience, it feels like the game's first version came out last week, not 3 years ago. 3/10 only a brief, buggy distraction

If you're looking for a high energy, strategic shooter with gory kills, high fun and a constant roll of challenges (with fantastic adjustable difficulty) then you've come to the right place. This is one of the only games I've ever bought for £50 that is actually worth £50. Every second of this game is mountains of fun and after completing all of it's vast challenges there is an incredible sense of achievement. I do NOT do this often but Doom: Eternal is a 10/10 and my best game of 2020

Hellsplit is a lot of fun, all the weapons are really fun to use and the campaign is pretty fun and offers a lot of humour. However I will complain about the difficulty, generally the game is quite easy. I defeated all of the bosses without taking a hit (except that damn Fire skeleton) but aside from the bosses the rest of the gameplay is fun and somewhat challenging, with a variety of weapons and I really like all of that part of the game.

As for enemy variety there is enough with various armoured zombies and whole arrays of different brutes but I must criticise the skeletons, all the unique movements, blood and dismemberment that made fighting zombies fun just feels like it is lacking in the skeletons, I feel if the skeletons had better sound design and some unique mechanic other than just being faster versions of the zombies then I would really like them.

But from this, don't think that I didn't like the game despite easy bosses, boring skeletons and the fact that none of the campaign maps are available in the free play mode I really liked it and how much there is left to do after you complete the regular campaign and in the realm of VR Arena Combat Hellsplit is a rare gem and a truly complete package for anything that you may desire.
