Saints Row: The Third - Review
Saints Row: The Third is a third person shooter taking place in the open world city of Steelport. It's a game that doesn't really take itself too seriously which is either a good or bad thing for some and the graphics are cartoonish to go along with the humor of the game which might fall flat for some people at times.

In Steelport you'll be spending your time either completing the missions, doing activities and finding the collectables, or going around the city causing mayhem. The story itself is based around getting revenge for someone and thats about it, lasting roughly 10+ hours. To make it even worse; Saints Row 4 basically renders every action you did during this game entirely pointless. However the missions themselves are pretty enjoyable, and the interactions between the characters are interesting despite not being too fleshed out.

While the story isn't too particularily compelling and the game's humor and graphics may not appeal to everyone, Saints Row: The Third is solid overall and pretty fun to play by yourself or with a friend. It occassionally goes on sale for $3.74 and it's definitely worth purchasing for that amount.

Pros:
► Fun single player and co-op gameplay experience
► Lots of customization options for your character, gang members and cars
► Variety of missions
► Interesting characters
► Many Activities to do and secrets to find
► Upgrade system (guns, character, homies)
► The timing for the songs / tracks bring out the feeling of a scene, especially the final mission
► Solid controls

Cons:
► Linear progression in the plot, where as the first two games would let you choose the order you could take out the gangs
► Story isn't particularily interesting or compelling
► Acheivement hunters won't be able to 100% due to the character gallary being down
► No cutscene replay option as with the first two games
► The city itself is particularily dull and lifeless
► Stuck with any upgrades choices you make, can't switch them on or off

Hit / Miss:
► Humor is a hit or miss for some people
► Few one time only choices that affect bonuses you'll recieve, but otherwise won't affect the storyline
► Upgrading too much may ruin your experience if you want a challenge

lets look at some facts.

Fallout 3, a great AAA game for its time, came out in 2008.

It took Bethesda 7 years of development, and re-development to finally give people Fallout 4 this coming november.

Now, the team working on DayZ have only been working on it for 2 years. They have also had members leave, and new people come on to the team. They are, as compared to Bethesda, a very small team. The smaller your team is, the longer development takes. With that said, it still took Bethesda 7 ♥♥♥♥ing years with a huge team to create Fallout 4.

The reality of it is this; it could be another 2-5 years before DayZ is finished, or at the least is out of Alpha. So, if you want to help that team along, and get to play a game that IS STILL BEING DEVELOPED, then by all means buy the game.

But if all you want to do is buy the game and then give it ♥♥♥♥ reviews then ♥♥♥♥ off. they have a very clear disclaimer telling you that the game is in its infancy.

Bit of a side note here. It seems like people expected this game to be finished or be in Beta by now. What people seem to forget, is that this game was created from scratch. The DayZ mod for Arma was relatively easy to make, as they already had all the code and resources at their disposal. This is not the case for the Standalone people....This game has literally been created from the ground up with new code, new assets, and a smaller crew then the team that made Arma.

No one should under any circumstance compare the development life cycle of DayZ:SA to the DayZ Arma mod. Other than overall end goal, they share nothing in common. Different code, different assets, different team.

My Grandfather smoked his whole life. I was about 10 years old when my mother said to him, "If you ever want to see your grandchildren graduate, you have to stop immediately." Tears welled up in his eyes when he realized what exactly was at stake. He gave it up immediately. Three years later he died of lung cancer. It was really sad and destroyed me. My mother said to me- "Don't ever smoke. Please don't put your family through what your Grandfather put us through." I agreed. At 28, I have never touched a cigarette. I must say, I feel a very slight sense of regret for never having done it, because this game gave me cancer anyway.

If you want a zombie game where there actually are zombies that don't glitch through walls and ♥♥♥♥ and kill you, then get it. Unlike most games like dayz and h1z1 where it is impossible to find loot and you rarely see zombies but when you do they glitch around and kill you, then get this. Zombies don't glitch around that much and you can search through many things and get many supplies and make your own bases and weapons. I highly suggest it, it is a fun game that I bought during summer sale and plan to spend much more time playing. I am not real big into single player games, so if you are like me, I suggest playing this with a friend.

Picked up the entire hitman collection for $8. Totally worth it. Started to play originals and this one before absolution. So far this is my favorite and is amazing. The game play is fun and never ending. If you beat it, go through and derp and try to beat it on pro. Gives you a challenge. Hours of gameplay and tones of fun.

Playing csgo was fun, so much fun, addicting almost, until rank update came out. I was bouncing between SMFC and Global Elite before the rank update and then I decided to take a break. I played one game after afking for about 2 months and losing my rank; and after dropping 50 kills i got put into GNM. That does not make sense.

I suggest be like me and just bhop on community servers and get good at that, its hella fun.
