If you have a high framerate you'll get stuck on various surfaces, enemies will spawn without hitboxes, and the game will randomly crash in various areas. I wish this stuff wasn't an issue because it was a solid game before it became more and more prevalent near the end

I got 20 fps in the main menu which dropped to 15 in an empty flatland.

Played and finished this, and the rest of the trilogy on RGL a year ago.

These are good games on their own, they are not good remasters/remakes. They work, they have times where they can look nice, they have times where you can have a blast playing. They are buggy, mostly ugly, and lack any soul. If you're one for being able to pick up a game and play, these work, that's what they were made for, no external mods or tools needed to be able to play and finish them. If you have the patience and time, find the original trilogy online, downgrade them, use some mods. They work vastly nicer than what this trilogy will offer you.

It's a shame that both MWII and MWIII along with Warzone are all grouped up together, which means one of these three does not deserve the positive thumbs up I'm giving but oh well, thanks Activision.

(I don't play zombies, nor do I touch campaign past a singular veteran run, I will not be discussing these two.)

Anyways Modern Warfare III is by far the *best* multiplayer experience we've had in years, a highly competitive perk system where everything is viable and you can't counter everything, insane balancing here, genuinely love it. Weapons are balanced well enough that a skilled player should be able to dominate lobbies. The high ttk is a huge break from the last two MW titles having low ttk which meant any garbage player can get kills just by hiding and shooting legs, finally some sort of skill ceiling is here! Hitting headshots means something! All the maps at the time of this review are remakes of MW2 maps from 2009, which isn't a bad thing, a lot of them play phenomenally, some better than their ogs, there's only a few maps I would consider to be downright bad and rather skip past.

Overall, Sledgehammer did a great job with their limited dev time and Infinity Ward's incessant hounding over the project. We got a studio that listens to community feedback and has shown themselves to make changes based on what the community asks for, hope it keeps up for the next year.

As for Modern Warfare II, absolutely garbage product, now it's been buried away behind menus and launchers and I can't say I miss it. Infinity Ward told the community outright after the beta that they would not be making changes from community feedback, right then people should've known that the studio doesn't care about the player base, only their vision for a heavy milsim that caters to bad players.

Great game, ♥♥♥♥ port. If you're going to buy it, pray Volition speeds up work on the patch (you'll get it for free if you own this).

Best game I played in recent years. Latest patch updated the game to fit modern 2022 standards and now includes co-op so you can Hunt Down The Freeman Together™️.

it's funny how they took possibly the most stable saints row pc release and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up with "enhancements" from a console edition that came out 7 years ago.

We lost:
- borderless windowed
- access to any of our saves that had dlc unlocked prior to the update
- general stability (crashes and disconnects are far more common now)

but we gained:
- forced epic games store installation
- broken crossplay with EGS/GOG
- a bunch of broken mods
- the team fortress 2 weapons pack that hasnt been available since 2013 wooooo!!!

Trying to replay this game in co-op after the update is a miserable experience when it becomes a tedious task to finish one mission without a script error or a random disconnection, thanks Deep Silver!
