At the current level of development I cannot recommend this game, but it is an interesting project. They have a huge issue with FPS where this game will dip hard in FPS and have a huge button delay for the player at random times. There is a first person fighting mode, which I take it is for the VR Mode of this game.. This game works well as a VR game, but the issue with it now is that to unlock this mode you have to win 10 consecutive fights in survival mode. There is an option for story mode but right now that's not even done. I don't think this game needs a story mode, but more so the online mode should be immediatley available. So I think that's a budgetary issue the devs are dealing with. I don't have high confidence for this game getting out of Early Access Game hell.... I can come back 5 years later, and this game is still an early access game. That's something I guarantee, and I hope I am wrong, because the potential for this game is here.

MY main issue besides FPS dips is that a game mode is locked away condtionally based upon you winning 10 consecutive fights in survival mode.. The game is too janky for you to achieve this outside of just pure luck rather than skill. And it kills the idea that this is a VR friendly game if a mode of the game that is specifically for VR use is locked away right off the bat. The movements in the second mode which is in first person is much more visible, and it makes the fights for easier to coordinate and it makes it easier to read the opponent's movements. Which means, this mode should be immediately available upon purchase rather than something you earn. I'm sorry, but this isn't Overwatch 2, and I honestly do not like Overwatch 2's model as it's hand holdy... I firmly believe that players should be able to fumble, fail, get obliterated by an OP opponent and learn from it.

I'm refunding for now, but hopefully this game improves and once it does I'll be back to repurchase it.

I'm never bored with this game... graphics a good. the game mechanics are good.. Also I enjoy the empire building aspects. Heck the freedom this game allows you. You can just be an arms and ship manufacturer for the major factions. you do not have to climb to the top. I enjoy this game a lot. total freedom and a whole universe to experience.

I'm downvoting this for now due to the price. I will not complain about the graphics though. I think for what this is a simulator, the graphics work great as it isn't energy consuming to run things as crazy as you want it to be.. With that said, there aren't enough assets in the game. As far as NPC choices go for the sentient races human, orcs, elves, dwarves.. there can definitely be some more options. I see other things like culture, kingdoms, villages, etc... It's nice, but would be great to see like technological and/or social advancement happen... Can't run a sim for 4k yrs and they still fighting with swords and spears.. I mean realistically yea, but you know what I mean.

For $20 the price is too high for so few actual assets in the game. again the graphics are 100% fine. after a 33 hour binge.. I got bored :P I think if they add more assets to the game, and more scenarios, and customizable options. This will definitely be worth the price tag.

Again this is just my opinion. If you want to have fun with this I recommend you check it out, but that $20 price tag is definitely going to turn off a lot of potential buyers,

This game is solid gold. I wish I could give it more thumbs up, but the only issue I had was the AI is usually OP... Which is fine. That's how these games are suppose to work. So far I will say you should give yourself time to learn every aspect of this game. There is so much to learn that you really have to get over this learning curve to fully enjoy the game.

um I thought I bought the full game apparnetly I didn't and only got a freaking DLC wTF steam!!!

I highly reccomend this game. I noticed a lot of the reviews on this game have been negative. Due to technical issues with the port. One of the chief complaints has been on gamepad support. I use an Xbox One gamepad for my PC gaming needs. It is fully mapped for this game. This game supports it full on. No need to do any keybindings with it. I'm not sure what hardware the other reviewers are using so I can only speak from my experience. I don't have motion blur when I play this game, and a lot of the technical issues I'm just not seeing or don't have a problem with. Maybe I'm fortunate.

This is a game I jumped into it and then suddenly 3 hours have gone. I made the mistake of doing an arena quest as a newbie. But I am glad I did. It got me use to my weapon of choice and play style. It also forced me to actually think about how I was going to defeat it. Apparently you're not suppose to really solo in arena quests, but I was never able to go into online mode and connect with other players. I think this is where the game has its main issue on the PC port. Connection is constantly lost. And it isn't on my end as I'm still able to chat with people on my Steam's friends list. I think once they fix their server issues, this game will pretty much be solid. I did end up winning in the arena quest, but only after I adopted a mindset that I'm the hunter, and that monster is my prey. Once I started thinking this way. It made setting traps, and exploiting the mob's movements a lot easier. It took time, but I took it down, got a huge bonus for beating an arena quest. I mean I did it after I did the very very first quest. Not recommended unless you learn well through trial by fire.

Overall the game gets a 8/10 For me the server connection was an issue that could break this game because there are some benefits with teaming up with people online. This seems to be a game that favors co-op mode.

There are negative reviews, most of them are technical. If you run into any issues like it. I highly encourage you to go ahead and close the client by any means necessary, and get your full refund. That's my go to when I can't get a game to work. I also don't bother reviewing at that point. It is usually because of hardware issues on my end and compatibility. FOr instance in other games they don't play well with Nvidia sooo I learned to just leave it alone, get the refund and move on with life. It is disappointing, but if you can make changes to your machine go for it. If you don't want to be bothered with that. I don't blame you. I think overall, this has to be the response from the community when a PC port isn't universally friendly to PC gamers.

This game seems fun. But even with the tutorial. The objectives move waaaay too fast.. the UI is tough to work with as nothing is straight forward. Construction? No clue how to do that. I thought I could figure it out. I was trying to unify my cities, but the timer on these objectives were so fast. I was still fulfilling one task as the others got cancelled within a manner of minutes. This game has a lot of potential, and possibly is fun. I didn't enjoy it. Oddly enough I would recommend you try it out if you're looking for a new RTS

I didn't expect this. I started this game expecting it to suck like all space survival games. But OMG. This game is INCREDIBLE!!!


Buy it, give them your monies. It is worth every penny.

An update: after 3 years of updates and now players can encounter each other in the game. I have to say this game has improved by milestones. I hope they continue in this positive direction.

worth the money when it's on sale. Fun with friends or online.. Not so fun alone.. But overall a fun game.. Kinda wish it was a FPS and not third person.
