funny little green monke use big gun 10/10

i have two brain cells that cant figure out the controls but i rate this game 10/10

I bought this game a few days after its release in 2016, and back then the game was terrible. Bugs, repetitive tasks, and a general lack of content. Deleted the game shortly after, and never came back.

Decided to download it since I am literally out of games to play, and I have to say, I am blown away at the content that was added since then. Not the best space exploration game by any means, but I love the art direction that this game have, and probably was the only reason for me to buy it.

Love that the devs did not abandon the game and have worked on adding content in the 6 years since its release, quite unlike a certain dinosaur survival game.

- Procedural generated worlds are quite unique in their design, if you can ignore the fact that the creatures looks like a weird amalgamation of shapes.
- Game is basically space engineers without engineering.
- Art style is pretty unique. Love the colours given to the worlds, each look unique.
- Creatures looks weird and sometimes glitch through the floor or flings you across the map.

This game is for dino lovers who has patience with a lot of time and friends.

I have none of those, but this is fun to play.

Was my favourite game until just about 3 weeks ago. Never knew what the "EA experience" was until I met the extremely inefficient EA help website. Seriously hard to even look at this game after having a big middle finger waved in my face.

Here's the never-ending list of cons:
- Garbage servers. 9 seasons later you'd still expect to randomly DC from a game.
- Cheaters/Hackers. You can find one in every 5 ranked games you play, 2 if you're lucky.
- Audio bugs, EVERYWHERE. Was it some guy trying to beam you with an L-STAR? Nope just a 3v3 happening halfway across the map.
- Did I also mention bugs? Paid $2000 for a PC? A bug will crash your beefy PC. Also been a few seasons that there hasnt been a mess-up at launch day. You can take a nap during launch day, wake up and the problem still wont be fixed.
- Toxic players. Arenas = 3v3 Deathmatches = equivalent to Fortnite's screaming players, except with text. Let's also not forget that if you don't follow the self-proclaimed "pro player", you're the noob.
- Ranked matches. Bronze is harder than Gold or higher matches, let that sink in.
- The extremely helpful EA help site. It takes me about 30mins to dispute a ban, and another 30mins to get to talk to chat support, and about 3 days to get the same reply: "we cant do anything"
- Let's also not forget the trademark overpriced skins; It doesnt need explanation, you can find one in every review.

Some (very few) pros:
- Best movement in any FPS. Been the one of the only reason why I defended this game with every "Apex Legends is ♥♥♥♥" comment.
- Gun play; Very solid, from the designs to the sounds of the guns are just amazing.
- Map design: I never found any of the maps made to be boring, there's always somewhere on the map you've never been before.
- Characters: Another reason for playing this game, every single character has a story, and none are boring.
- Content: Lots of content added between and during seasons, be it map changes or overpriced skins. Bug also included.

If you dont mind the cons, you'll have a very enjoyable time, but as with a lot of the BR games, dont expect a game-changing gameplay.

If you liked Titanfall, you'll like Apex Legends, and hope you'll never have to encounter EA help site because they dont care. Fancy skins are more important.

I have literally graduated twice and this game is still in beta. It will probably be done once i reach 69 years old.
