TL;DR - A cheater group has been harassing me and finally forced me out of the community.

I have been the victim of targeting by a cheater group, which I will not name to give them the attention that they want, that has had it out for me for the past few years. They have been targeting all of my Steam accounts, now including this one that I had managed to avoid them on for so long. They have been using report bots and false evidence to get my accounts community/game banned.

I know people will say that I'm making this up and lying to have an excuse for "cheating" in TF2, but I have many people close to me who know this is all too true. It had gotten to the point that they started harassing my family in real life. I don't want this to be a sob story, but I want it to be known.

Following this, I will be leaving the TF2 community. Being the victim of targeting both inside and outside the internet is a lot worse than it seems. Being the victim of having your personal information dug up over video game drama is ridiculous, and I don't want to be part of it anymore.

As much as I love this game and it's community, this is a serious problem that I can't bear to deal with anymore because of how some bad actors choose to act over losing in a video game.

And to anyone who is here to say "L cheater" or "nice ban", just know that the folks like you were always my favorites. You might hate me, you might think I'm a sniper degenerate, but seeing how players reacted to my gameplay made me always want to improve and get better. So thank you guys most of all.
