I know there's a lot of negative or mixed reactions to this one but as a fan of the series I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I've played it completely through twice, as well as done lots of chapter exploring. I ran into zero performance issues, the soundtrack is great, I love the style of graphics, and the story had me interested. I thought they did a great job and I can't wait for the next game in the series!

As a huge Baldurs Gate/Pillars of Eternity fan I had extremely high hopes for this game and man did it deliver. As you can tell from my playtime, I took my time on my playthrough and also played all of the DLC so far (minus the newest one, which I will play soon). I'm glad they've continued support for this game for so long, I happily bought the second season pass after finishing all the DLC from the first season. I hope they made another entry into this series. If you like the Pillars games then definitely give them one a shot.

I'd like to start off by saying I don't review many games, on any platforms, but with this one I felt the need. I know it's gotten "mixed" reviews but I thoroughly enjoyed this game! The story is really good, I found myself fully immersed, reading every email I could find, happy when I found the next audio or video logs, and anxiously awaiting the next story sequence. It's short, yes, but not every game needs to be long. So many games drag out just to advertise length. IMO this game was well paced and didn't feel rushed or long. I'll definitely be replaying it and am happy I got it. Please ignore the negative reviews and give it a shot!

As someone who used to buy Gameday every year back on the PS1 this game takes me back to those times. I haven't bought Madden in a few years now due to the poor product EA puts out every year with that series, this game is a great alternative. It obviously doesn't have the NFL/NFLPA licenses but you can mod it if that's a deal breaker for you. I tried this out on a whim and I'm definitely glad I did. The dev is active in the community and the game runs incredibly well on the Steam Deck. If you're tired of the re-paste that is Madden give this game a shot.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first Dreadout and Keepers of the Dark, so I was pretty excited to play this one. There are quite a few issues but most of all the combat is just far too clunky. I'm all for difficult games but dying over and over to a boss because of bad game mechanics and clunky controls is a lot different than learning from mistakes to improve. After many deaths to a boss in chapter 3 I googled only to find countless people mention frustration and that beating this boss included a lot of sheer luck. I refuse to keep trying over and over only to hopefully luck on the boss's movements to be able to progress. I'm disappointed that this game had so much potential but IMO falls short of the prior entries.

I've tried two different times to get into this game and just couldn't. Not to mention the distance between check points means that once you die you could have to do quite a bit over. I wanted to like it but it failed to draw me in.

A very short but entertaining game. It's very slow paced and based on exploration and paying attention to details. If you don't like those types of games, then you won't like this. However, I feel everyone should give this game a shot. The story is awesome, very in depth. I won't spoil anything to do with the story but I'll say once I started the game I was hooked.

Let me start off by saying I was worried about this game, I was burned in the past with the whole player vs monster theme (Evolve) but this game handles it so great. I went from being cautiously optimistic about this game to it being one of my favorite games to play, on any platform.

The developers have created a pretty unique world, with some really cool characters. I like how they focused on creating their own world with each character having unique perks, fixing bugs, adding in things, etc.. before they went with a licensed DLC. With that, I am referring to the Halloween/Michael Myers pack that was released. IMO, it was very smart to do this with the Friday the 13th game coming out next year, helps this game compete.

My only complaint about this game is I wish it had dedicated servers instead of P2P connections. This would solve the lag and disconnects , that happen sometimes. Otherwise, the game is an absolute blast.

If you have friends to play with it's definitely worth picking up and honestly even if you don't you should still get it. This game is very unique with a fresh take on 4v1 , in its own unique world.

I plan to play it for a very long time.


EDIT: A year later and it's still one of my favorite games.

I tried liking it, I really did. I kept playing it, thinking it'd get better but I was wrong. The game relies too much on luck. You can do everything right and still fail, in fact you should plan on failing as that is typically what happens. You will die, a lot. Cool concept, just wish it was based on more than dumb luck.

Arma III is simply fantastic. If you want a game with HUGE maps, realistic feel, all sorts of vehicles, mods, tons of game modes and that doesn't take a ton of bullets to kill someone..then this is for you. It takes patience and practice but can be a ton of fun. I definitely think it's one of the best purchases I've made and highly recommend it to any FPS fan.
