A detective/RPG with combat based on card mechanics. It features a great theme, intriguing lore, good writing, and an engaging historical setting that incorporates real events, Polish culture and historical figures with apparent dedication. The build-up is strong, and the combat system, though repetitive, allows experimenting with upgrade and skill combos.

However, the ending felt abrupt and underwhelming. The unexpected final boss battle lacked sufficient context or explanation regarding their powers and motivations—possibly influenced by the choices I made throughout the game.

I thoroughly enjoyed the journey and appreciated the multiple outcomes based on player choices. That said, replaying the game immediately after finishing could feel like a chore unless you had saved at crucial points, knowing in advance they’d be important. Cycling through the same clues will not feel as engaging on a second play-through. Despite this, I’ll probably return to the game at a later time, once my memory of the game is hazy enough, to discover what would have happened if I made different choices.

One suggestion for improvement would be to allow players to name their save files rather than automatically numbering them. This small change would make it much easier to locate specific saves and experiment with different story paths.
