I keep going away from this game, but it keeps bringing me back in. The music and animation are amazing. One character can be every class and do every profession (EXTREMELY ADHD FRIENDLY) ... the community, especially the Novice Network, are non-toxic and extremely helpful to new and veteran players alike. There is never something that you will not learn when you play on any given day.

Even the crafting and gathering professions "feel" like you are doing something and are extremely zen. Having played multiple MMOs, including Star Wars: The Old Republic and World of Warcraft, the developers at Final Fantasy XIV seem to be "trolling" other games boards and looking at what whey want - AND PUTTING INTO THEIR GAME.

With this game, you really do not need to look to play any other MMOs, unless you want to play something on Xbox or Switch - which then you are out of luck since this is only a PlayStation and/or PC game - but it does allow for a great deal of cross-platform compatibility. You can even get it up and running in Steamlink and play it on your phone, but I have yet to try that fully.
