CS:GO is amazing game. There are a lot of stuff you can learn with enough dedication. Mechanics are great, visuals are nice as well, sound location is a nice feature. There are plenty of cool skins you can buy for investments.

Respectively there is a downside(griefers, cheaters, toxic people etc.), which ruin the game. If you are lucky, you can find really nice teammates and the game will be enjoyable.
