Review of the first 20-ish hours of Helldivers 2.

The game is amazing, wether it is because of the gameplay or the environment. The game is definetly unique, wwhich makes the game a breath of fresh air after playing games like Battlefield, CoD, Counter Strike etc. The game gets even more amazing when playing with friends, and the games chaotic feeling is insanely well done.

However, I have two main issues with the game:
- You buy a $40 game to have two options, either you buy the access to all the new weapons, or you spent hours upon hours grinding super credits. I am only halfway to buy 1 premium bundle afterr 20-ish hours, and this seems very unfair to players after spending $40. Especially when you think about how many bundles there is (I think it is about 10-12?).

- You get the same missions, wether you are 1 or 4 people. I do understand that you want people to play online, but many still chooses to go solo. The same missions are given to all players, which is fair enough, but what is not fair is the amount of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ you arre if you choose to play solo. If the mission spawns 500 enemies, then it will spawn 500 enemies if you are solo or 4 people. This in my humble opinion is pissing up and down on the players wanting to play solo, if the game would do perhaps 1/2 the enemies for a solo player? Then the solo players and the squad players can have the same amount of fun...

All in all, this is definetly one of the best shooters I have played, and definetly the best PVE-shooter. But I think my two issues with the game are definetly fair points, and is something the developers should work on. Should I rate the game, I would have to give it 8/10, where 10 is the absolute best experience for every player :)

Legit more bugs than Battelfield 2042 on release. It is crazy that money glitches gets patched instantly, but glitches that are annoying for the playerbase gets ignored. Some glitches have been there for a decade now. Good job, Rockstar! Be proud of yourself!

The idea you have of Counter Strike is dead!

Valve has not tried to change the game for the better, since the release 1.5 years ago. Normally, I would admit to nostalgia playing a part in, why you wouldn't like a new game. However, when you forcefully retire the greatest shooter of all time, to then give all of its players the worst experience in gaming history, you know it's bad. Valve is making ZERO effort continuing the Counter Strike legacy. They make enough money on skins in the game alone, that it covers the upkeep of the whole Steam platform, and still chooses to give its many million players the middelfinger.

If you want to play a shooter, I would highly recommend a game, where the developers and creators actually cares about their game and community, which Valve unfortunatly doesn't do. If you are already a Counter Strike player, then don't expect, that the game will ever be fixed.

The most annoying fact probably is, that they only need a better anticheat and 128 tick servers, to actually make the game playable. These two very simple changes could, and would, do so CS2 could actually thrive again, but no, we need poor optimization and more skins...

Rest in peace Counter Strike legacy, Valve has officially taken you to the grave.

Update: CS2 continues to be the most remarkable shooter, at least in terms of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on a community. After 22 months of CS2, I can not name one good addition to the game, and not one thing the community wants have been changed. So sad to see Valve doom an entire franchise for no apparent reason. Good job, Valve, I really do hope that your greed will bring down the entire corporation. The world is a better place without you...

Genuinely the best fps game ever made. I have 300-400 hours on ps4 aswell, and just came back on pc. I do really hope this game never die!
