Metro Exodus is unlike any other metro game in the series. Compared to 2033 and Last light, exodus feels more open and free, whilst still maintaining that element of your choices affecting the game. Though exodus feels good in this way, exodus also lacks something that 2033 and last light did comparatively well. That aspect is stealth. Exodus doesn't feel as stealthy in terms of completing objectives or exploring the world. A lot of the encounters can be done stealthily, but given the context that they're created in, and the open world aspect, each of the individual missions feel to encourage more aggressive gameplay.

Overall though, Metro Exodus is still a good game and an interesting step in a different direction. At least someone who was disappointed in the Assassin's Creed franchise, Exodus brings new gameplay back in the right direction.
