Best Elder Scrolls Game Made. Tons of reading. You could forgo reading all the books and use the Internet to say, find the master trainers of the game. Some quests are nearly impossible to complete without reading on the Internet though, ie: the Sanguine Set quest. Hitting Davayth Fyr--an essential character that can be killed but you will break your main questline permanently--with like 200 disintegrate armor spells, calming him just as many, and pickpocketing about the same number of times is the only way to get a full set of Daedric armor to give you an idea of how hard this game is sometimes...or at least tedious.

You should run this game with new textures from a mod site. I also recommend better faces/bodies, some kind of mana regen mod, and passive cliff racers, among a few others. The combat is difficult (irritating) in the beginning. Get money and train before using a weapon if you can. Stay away at all costs from Morrowind Rebirth, it seems good at first but breaks the game in a number of ways. The basement dweller that created the mod uploaded his vision of the game, which is inferior to the original. There is a patch for purists, so you can avoid the Morrowind Patch Project, but you should certainly use Morrowind Code Patch and MXGE with distant land drawing capability.

I hear good things about Open Morrowind and Tamriel Rebuilt but sadly, neither are anywhere near finished and I am finished playing the game (for the next few years lol) as of today.
