The deepest most extensive ARPG on the market and it's free to play. The community is pretty great and the people who stream and make content for the games are quite helpful. I've been playing sine the beta when Act 3 was end game and I've stayed all this time.

Buddy and I spent a lot of time playing this game, played through the beta into the release and somehow performance went down in the game. Never had any issues at all until the release. Now whenever I land after jumping from the plane, it drops tons of frames while loading items in. Then my buddy's account was suspended for cheating though he wasn't.

Update: They gave my buddy's account back after they found it was a false positive in the cheat detection. Long story short, do not play the game if you're having significant amounts of lag. Their cheat detection will think you are cheating.

The game is on its way to greatness for sure. There are a good number of maps and randomness to the game that keeps it interested even if you've play it multiple times over. It is much more fun with friends than alone, especially a party of four. It seems to get monthly updates for content and bug fixes.

Last, but not least, this is a scary game. In order to solve the type of ghost, you have to use as many tools as possible, of which it turns into more of a puzzle game. I highly recommend watching a few videos to understand how to use the tools in the game and reading up on the different types of ghosts. This information is vital for solving which ghost it is. I recommend this game for anyone looking for a thrill with friends.

As great as the foundation of the game is, in its current state I cannot recommend it. Other reviews explain it, but the current gear system, artifact system and lack of a feeling of progress to be made in game leaves me wanting more. Additionally, the content that was being worked on seemingly didn't make it into the final game. It was posted in various places on the internet, including the developers personal twitter and main website, but is absent from the final version. I'm unsure what the reason is, the developer has said he started the game from scratch multiple times, so at some point it could all have been eliminated. Either way, the current game leaves me wanting more. The systems that are in place can work with some tweaking and additions, it could end up becoming a fantastic game, but it needs updating and with how things went previously, I'm not sure if it will be worked on from here out. I can only hope.

One of the most amazing, deep mechanic, team based games I have ever played. I stepped into this game as a frest new recruit. I've learned so much about the game, each individual hero, and the mechanics in place, but still don't know it all. Dota 2 is free to play and from the couple thousand hours I've spent playing it, I know it's well worth the simple download. The tricky part is learning the game well enough to actually beat human opponents. I've managed to get to high tier matches which means that pretty much anyone can do it. The only real problem with this game is that sometimes the community is less than desired. Actually, it's the non-english speaking community that hinders this game really.
