Seems to be a solid start. I hope they get pretty deep into the weeds and let you advance all the way back to the modern era, heh. Go check out the Demo!

Pretty cool tactics game. Build your defenses & survive onslaught. Haven't done assault yet.

Early Access Review
Played for a few hours. Seems capable of some pretty in-depth control and detail. Since it's still in Early Access, if this is your schtick, hop in and give any feedback you want. Seems pretty decently polished from what I've seen.

Early Access Review
Seems to be a pretty fun game, shows good potential. Gathering resources is also fun and not tedious (think Subnautica). Recommended. Be sure to join the Discord channel a drop any suggestions for better gameplay (supports single player & online co-op / pvp)

Pretty cool. Sorta like Clue if you controlled the characters.

Remember how Rufus keeps getting squished in the Tutorial for the first three games? Well, make this the second time for my heart. Thanks Daedalic. Not for crushing my heart twice, no. But for the story that would have me chance a third time in the hopes that this time it would be different. (Dammit. Please? Can I please have my happy ending? Those who like sad endings can simply disavow Deponia 5: Goal Saves the Day or whatever.) Oh whatever. I'll get over it. Eventually.

Don't recommend if you are prone to rage-quitting when the game isn't fair. FTL is like life: it's not fair, but you can sometimes win anyways with enough strategy and persistence. Have fun losing! There's also mods if you insist that you must ScummSave (bypass permadeath / cheat). Look them up after you get tired of the base game as well, they offer many ways to expand gameplay and the game universe.

Spacebar (pause) is your friend, use it often and frequently to micromanage stuff like power or collect your bearings. (No it's not cheating, how many times per second does your CPU analyze the game?) Also, airlocks are useful, especially in combination with improved blast doors, to put out or prevent fires, and to herd enemy boarders into, say, your medbay, where your crew gets healed and they don't (assuming it's powered of course).

Excellent software with a massive collection of animated (and some audio-responsive and / or RGB controlling) wallpaper from just about every conceivable category. Highly configurable (Don't like the sound? shut if off. Only want the sound to play when nothing else is open? Sure. Speed up / slow down the animation? Got it. Playlists? Of course!) Be sure to configure where you where you want your wallpapers stored though as some can get rather large. I have Wallpaper Engine installed to my SSD for fast auto-start with the system, but he wallpapers stored to a larger regular hard disk. Alternatively, just delete animated wallpapers you aren't currently using. Updates are handled by Steam, and then applied at next Wallpaper Engine launch. For safety, Wallpaper Engine has a safe start mode that activates if a bad animation causes a crash (starts in disabled mode to allow you to choose a different animation or re-download the current one etc.) However I've only seen it have to activate due to power loss, which is good.

Pretty fun Tower Defense + FPS - if you've ever wanted to be able to play Tremulous (similar to Gloom) in Single Player mode (while still being able to play multiplayer) you'll like this. Bit of story (so far) with illustrations. I like it.
