As game devs have now announced, that they will provide free server transfer for those who did not get on the server they initially wanted to battle the line ups, I am going to change this review and recommend the game as the game is good.

I just hope that these kind of launch issues would be past us on next releases.

Why this kind of release for MMO's is a norm and people are defending it?

We're living in 2021 and the game is released by a company that has one of the biggest server farms.

We as gamers should not accept this kind of launch, this should not be a norm that people are lining up and wasting their precious time waiting to get in to the game.

Played through the main mission and tried some end game and here are my thoughts:

Story mode takes around 15 hours if you rush through side quests maybe another 5-10 hours.

In short, I enjoyed the story and gameplay.

This game reminds me of so many other games, like for example:
- Destiny because of some legendary weapon ornaments
- Anthem because of the theme of the story, loot drops and ammo packs (seriously, what's up with the ammo packs)
- Division (Cover system mainly, which does not work in outriders as well as perhaps it was meant to work)

I would not consider this AAA title, at least not yet as the game is quite unbalanced and sometimes feels a bit unfinished. All the aspects in the game, the fundamentals are there but yet something feels lacking. Like there is great promise in the game but it needs more polish.

Is this game worth the 60 bucks for 15 hours of story? I don't think so. Maybe wait for sale and grab it then.

You can pour more hours to the end game content but what's the point if there is no continuation announced to the game so far.
