Its like Slay the spire but more streamlined. Runs are quicker and thus the loop is looping harder. I need sleep now. badly

very slick and addictive PvP VR Shooter; lots of Quest kids but they usually behave.

OK let me give a contrarian review of this game, since it has really been hyped up and I finally came to finish the game:
(disclaimer: I played the original Planescape, lots of CRPGs with lots of dialogue in it and am a 30something boomer)

this has really little actual gameplay in it; the character system seems fun at first, but gets dull really quickly.
Just be warned: this plays more like a visual novel or interactive audio book - the "RPG" genre might misslead expectations here.
Now to the story (really subjective matter of course, no real spoilers): it kept me hooked the entire time. The "detective element" is really nicely crafted into the unfolding story.
However - to me the story feels like "all brains and no heart" . The world-building is excellent and some characters are really well-written and unique. But for me it was too little character development. There is no "mythical" story arc here, no real escapism. To me it felt most of the time I was not part of the story, I could only discover fixed elements in a certain order. Especially the main character was missing deeper connections to other characters and the world.
Even though I was intellectually hooked by the plot, I didnt really give a ♥♥♥♥ about what happens to any of the characters in the world.
Mini spoiler: the ending and payoff at the end felt really dull and uninspiring, "another day at the office".

Best esports game ever, hardest and deepest I ever played. Not easy for new players, but worth the journey, if you can pull through.
Not a game for people who want some easy fun; a game for people who aim to constantly improve and power through the frustration.
