The base game is disappointing for a Bethesda title. There are a few fun bits here and there but overall I felt like I needed to force myself to play the game at times. There are many points at which the game will feel lifeless, boring, and a chore to play. However, it does feel like Starfield has the highest ceiling for mod potential.

2 things: why isn't there a skill to make lockpicking faster/easier and why isn't there a parry/block mechanic??

ive played through the base game twice already and im working on "the following" dlc for the 2nd time now as well. dying light is a great mix of action and parkour with the excitement of fighting of hordes of zombies. finding creative ways to kill zombies never gets old and the game creates many intense moments, especially during nighttime, that keep the game suspenseful and exciting.

at times, the movement will feel a little jarring but for the most part running and jumping from building to building is very satisfying. the story isn't anything new and the characters don't particularly stand out, but it's engaging enough to keep you focused on the best part about the game which is the gameplay.

if you love zombies, survival, parkour, or any one of those three, get this game.

ME:A is pretty enjoyable and maybe a little underrated compared to how most people (especially fans of the ME series) see it. overall its a decent game, the story is basic but the gameplay is fun and the world building was pretty good. i like that they went the open world route and i hope future mass effect games follow in that same format.

the open world itself though is a bit too empty, and the repetitive side quests don't really help with that. most of the characters are pretty cool with the exception of a few dull ones. can't really judge too harshly seeing as how there was meant to be continuations to the andromeda series.

there might be a lot left to be desired but it still scratches that space itch. whether you're a fan of ME or not, i think it's still worth a try especially for $7.49 when it's on sale.

this is one of the most cinematic games that i've ever played. the sound and visuals are just really well done and add a lot to the war atmosphere.

the campaign is surprisingly decent; it's just a compilation of about 5 short war stories taking place on different fronts of ww1. there's some decent writing and interesting characters, at least in about 3/5 of the chapters.

the multiplayer is also great in my opinion. you will encounter the occasional cheater which can be frustrating but most of the time it's a very fun experience as long as you don't take the game (by this i mean your stats) too seriously. not every map is perfect, but they are all beautifully designed. gunplay is satisfying, but limited in customization which makes sense given that it's ww1. vehicles are cheese but with a good team that can be negated.

i definitely recommend bf1 based on atmosphere alone and on top of that it's just fun to play. i would not recommend buying it at full price though; wait for a sale and you can get the game + dlc for only $8 which is a steal.

Here are some reasons why DRG is my favorite game:

-Creativity and teamwork are highly encouraged. Each class is given unique weapons and tools with different strengths and weaknesses that open up your kit to more specific build crafting.

-Procedural generation ensures that no experience is the same and encourages players to use their tools to their highest potential.

-There is matchmaking, so you don't need to have a dedicated group to play with all the time. The community is mostly positive and welcoming as well.

-The devs are active and open to feedback. They listen to suggestions from the community and have made significant updates based on these suggestions.

DRG goes on sale pretty frequently, but even at full price I 100% recommend it.
