ALL PLAYERS BEWARE OF THIS GAME! It is set up for you to loose EVERYTHING as soon as you get it, and if you're just starting out, DO NOT PAY FOR ANYTHING IN THIS GAME for the OG's of the game WILL take it from you lol. I'm not here to complain or to hate on the game, I'm only writing this to warn you, Start off VERY SLOW AND CHEAP if you want to play this game.

The mechanics are set up to allow people to take everything you have if you don't understand them, let alone the skill tree in this game takes multiple YEARS to complete, so unless your ready for a lot of losses, then I would fly as cheaply as possible. So that you wont become a target for other players, otherwise, soon as they know you fly expensive stuff, THEY WILL COME and TAKE IT FROM YOU lol.

This game should have the name changed to EVIL Online, for it caters to such types of players. Making it almost impossible to defend against so that you have to keep buying over and over again. I Have personally seen this, had it happen, watched it happen to others, and I know of personally, 30 people who left the game after years of playing, good people too, that would pay as well as knew how to play for free, quit the game due to the realization that the Dev's promote it.

For that is actually what EVE is, it's NOT a building game, ONLY A CONQUEST game, more so set for PVP than anything else. However, it has MANY DIFFERENT Avenues that support it's main PVP side. So there are ways to play, without ever being attacked, so for some people, this is a huge plus. This type of game play usually has to do with the player driven market inside the game. Which IS AWESOME!

There are some NPC Missions and such to allow members to gain enough in game currency to "Plex Out" or pay for the Omega Status without using real money, so that is nice as well, but for new comer's, this would be a possibility till months if not years later, once your skills are up enough to allow you to even do such. Meaning, you will be paying either way to get there. So keep that in mind. For you need Omega status in order to keep your skills growing past 5 mill and there are players already out there at 120 mill and more lol. So have fun lol.

Over all, its a Teamwork RPG Game set in an MMO environment. It's great for people that like the fine details for it's all about such details, and I highly recommend anyone starting to look at the mechanics, and get a full understanding on them prior to fully investing your time and money into it.

With good people this game is awesome, but with the wrong type, it's a Narcissist's Heaven lol. Catering to Psychotic Gamer's that multi-box 20 some accounts, while exploiting the mechanics, in which the Dev's know about, nor care about, for it rakes in the money for them, due to innocent player losses. Flat and simple Truth.

In which constantly scares or drives away good players from your corp, swearing off the game, to never return again. This has been confirmed by the Dev's it's not just me ranting here lol. Plus if you knew how things were set up, like if you try to help your friend, that's IN YOUR FLEET, to repair while being attacked from another player, you become a criminal, and get popped not only by everyone being able to lock you now, but also by the NPC Police system and that last part right there, seals the deal.

So, I love this game, but I'm warning you, ONLY INVEST WITH THOSE YOU ABSOLUTELY TRUST, and start as slow and cheaply as possible to see if you even wish to continue, and if you do get something good, TELL NO ONE and FLY SAFE lol.

Best wishes to all, even the Gankers lol. After 5 years of playing the game, I have finally hung up my hat, conceded, and moved on lol. But I hope and wish that anyone who is starting or still trying, in game, has great luck, and good people to help them. For they will need it lol.
