It sucks that Mega Man's been inactive for over 8 years, but I gotta say it was well worth it for the thrill I got from Mega Man 11. This game takes everything about the Mega Man series and quite literally cranks it up to 11! The story is essentially the classic "stop Dr. Wily and his evil robots" plotline and is as lighthearted as ever, but it also has a small hint of seriousness as the game explores some new lore about how Drs. Light and Wily split up over the Double Gear System. Speaking of, the Double Gear System - the game's selling point - is a fun, unique, and interesting new mechanic that adds a fresh twist to the already fresh and fluid gameplay Mega Man 11 has to offer. The levels are well-designed and the boss battles are crazy fun! And not to mention, Mega Man 11 has arguably the best lineup of Robot Masters and Special Weapons since Mega Man 9! The visuals and music are top-notch too; the graphics and character models are beautiful, and the game's soundtrack is full of catchy tunes! Final Verdict: 11/10, would play again multiple times.
