mmmm..... I'm still gonna use it with all my blender stuff.... but what adobe is doing to it is really gross.... the new name alone is terrible lol, "adobe substance 3d painter", they should've left it at
"substance painter"

they also kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up all my ♥♥♥♥ with deleting all my presets and creating a terrible new UI for the shelf/asset panel.

they just kinda combined all the different categories into 5-6 main buttons... now all the normal maps are mixed with the procedurals, the tools are mixed with the brushes, etc.

I don't know why they decided to do this, I don't even think its a case of being unfamiliar with the UI, I think its just genuinely bad. I don't mind UI change, I just don't like it when the UI actively gets dumber.

Either way, you should probably avoid buying this version of the software for now, maybe get a older version or something... idk, there is nothing else on the market like substance so as of now its a must have.
