When other companies have launch queues this bad, it's because they can't afford to over-buy server space with places like AWS. What the hell is Amazon's excuse?

Update: 4 hours later, and I have gone from 72 to 12 in the queue. My friend, loading at the same time on the same server, goes from 1700 to 60. I mean, what do these numbers even mean at this point? If this was supposed to be Amazon's grand entrance into AAA gaming, color me unimpressed.

Update: 30 hours in and now that I'm on a server that hasn't (yet) been overextended, the game is very good. I'm still salty about how the WORLD'S LARGEST VENDOR OF SERVERS can't figure out how to keep some of the longest-running launch issues ever from happening.
