Buggy turd. Absolute misery to play as well.

This game is decent, but the sequel is a lot better.

I have wavered on this game while replaying it for the first time since I had it on disc in 2004, and I simply cannot recommend it. It was forgotten and unsupported for a reason. It's a repetitive slog that straightjackets and railroads the player. Even by the standards of old games it's uninspired and clumsy in implementation. There's also no real story to speak of and not much of a world to explore; it's hard to believe this was designed by hand. The difficulty and wonkiness involved in getting it to work on a modern machine is also a strike against it. It's just a bad game all around. Don't buy it, not even for 99 cents. The sequel, however, might be worth a look for some.

I've tried and tried to enjoy this game, and a lot of the time I did. Unfortunately it's just a buggy, frustrating, repetitive, tedious mess with low replay value. Another six months of polish and diversification of scenarios could have made it good. Maybe the sequel will be better, but I won't hold my breath.

This is probably the best Total War game and the best Warhammer game on the market. I love it. I can't stop spending my money on it.

This game kicks ass. I don't know what else to say really. I hope we get Brigador Killers soon.
