Expected a STALKER knockoff, but was pleasantly surprised to find that it's not. Nor did I expect it to be so re-playable either. Both thematically and in terms of gameplay, it has more similarities to the Roadside Picnic with the more muted action and story.

With all the DLC included, you get a fairly nice sandbox experience with a fair amount of replayability with the New Game+ features. Would recommend.

Great adventure with a million types of spiders/insects/animals/creatures that want to kill you, and the kind of residents who you'd expect to live in it.

A bit like Australia, but colder.

Super comfy urban exploration and puzzle game. Tons of backstory, subplots and urban legends just scattered around to find.

If you are a fan of the classic Fallout games, you might find this refreshing.
One complaint would be that the developers seem a bit obsessed with balance/difficulty so some parts can be frustrating if you didn't build your character right.

A great RPG with an atmosphere and story that stands on its own even compared to the classic Fallout's while still maintaining respect and the continuation of the universe of Fallout. The western-comedy theme fits surprisingly well within the universe without seeming too far out.

Game play was improved greatly compared to Fallout 3 and so did the writing with the more 'grey-morality' themes that were present in Fallout 1 and 2.

If you have no experience with the Fallout games, this is not a bad start as most sequels in this franchise are not direct continuations of the story of previous games.

While New Vegas is certainly not perfect, as there are technical problems and sometimes awkward game play situations that can only be somewhat remedied by the thankfully large modding community, it's otherwise still a really fun game.

Classic hack and slash games with maybe a bit of a stinker in the middle (DMC2).
Have no complains otherwise with the port/collection.

It's a great game. But instead of doing a proper remaster, the game they made can barely run without looking online for fixes. It crashes a ton without the fixes but even with some tinkering, there will always be a chance that the game might just screw up and crash. If you want to play Bioshock 2, either get the remastered and live with the fear of something going wrong, or research if there are better ways to play this game, because it truly is a great experience.

Years later, they add the 2K launcher. Nice.
