Purchased on a whim for $40 during the Steam Winter sale, despite the less than stellar word of mouth on the first Watch Dogs 1.

I'm not a PvP kinda guy, but the random matchmaking and invasion events are an absolute blast and lead to some absolutely insane car chases through the city. You can stand on the roof of a Nudle (Google) corporate bus and tazer NPCs while a complete stranger drives you both through traffic. Or you could end up as roadkill when the game decides you've caused enough havoc and drops a pair of players in sports cars into your police chase and they roadkill you in the middle of some city park.

Great variety of music. Got some new favorite songs out of this. "Drink all the Beer, Hack all the Things." and "74 is the New 24".

Good acting and character design. Hard not to fall in love with everyone on your team. Except Ray. He probably has crabs.
Decent story. Kept me engaged till the end and I usually muddle around in a game for the immediate novelty and then dump it.

Gameplay wise, it's a mix of stealth mechanics, 3rd person shooting, droping care packages (boom boom baby) on people from drones, driving RC cars through vents, basic wiring puzzles. Powering up is a very open-ended tech tree with points earned from quest completion and pickups on the open world map. Good game rolling in a Boing-Boing style crypto-punk/maker culture asthetic.

No technical problems but I have a fairly new rig (i5-6600k, 32GB ram, SSD) with a GTX 1070. Don't let the Nvidia GeForce experience overtune your settings though. Some minor glitches -- once got stuck in a wall exiting a RC car during a multiplayer mission, but nothing game breaking.

I can't believe I spent $60 on this garbage game.

How did they ever get a Games Workshop license? They just patched and it's still a horrible game. I keep trying to play it, and every time I log out pissed. How is this even a shooter in 2016? Vehicles are completely undriveable. Netcode is a laggy mess. Nothing like the planetside2 which was a comparison selling point for me. As expected, everyone is playing Space Marine so get used to getting decapitated by them. Non-random gameplay modes look like this:
Players in Queue: Space Marines 33, Chaos Marines 1, Orks 0, Eldar 0
Dated graphics even on max settings. Chaos marines get a flamethrower that demolishes vehicles in 4 seconds flat... Not sure there is a balance team behind this. Just don't buy it. Don't do it. Save yourself the trouble. The netcode is terrible.

I don't write reviews, but every time I play this piece of ♥♥♥♥, I want to come here and expand on my vitriol. No Man's Sky is a better multi-player game than this...

Update -- still a wreck. Still bad netcode where you get instagibbed by dudes with chainswords.

Short but tense and beautiful... well worth the money even for a 5hr ride. Fire lookout towers looks just like the ones I've been in but with less flies. Voice acting is superb. Steam controller works great with the game.

If you're a fan of strategy games and the sci-fi genera, I highly recommend Endless Space. It's very well designed game that absolutely destroys time.

Prime time on the weekend sunderers just fly around shooting through walls and there's nobody to stop them. Sad to see how far this game has fallen.
