If you love being in the deep sheet while playing blind cause game doesn't tell you almost anything, you will love this game. If you love not getting all the important items cause they are hidden behind the quests you had no idea existed, you will love this game. If you love cryptic explainations longer than 300 words essay that don't tell anything important - you will love this game. If you love titles doing complicated mechanics impossible to riddle by yourself for the sake of being overcomplicated - you will love this game. If you enjoy final bosses being heavily RNG encounters that are nothing like other fights - you will love this game.

If you do not meet these criteria, you will be stuck with a game that is neither a good metroidvania, nor a good soulslike, nor a good platformer.

Anyway it's a really addictive title with unique premise and gameplay, however there is way too many text I believe. Still, story, characters and consequences are fantastic and exploring The Eye was a great adventure.
