Early Access Review
If Dirt: Rally is seen as the pinnacle of Rally Sims, Session will be seen the pinnacle of Skateboarding Sims.

It's not about stringing along as many over the top tricks as you do in Tony Hawk, it's about finding a spot you find worth skating at and performing cool lines. Maybe drag in a bench from the side to add another grind opportunity or add in a ramp to gain some more height. This can all be done with the object dropper. Allowing you to add more stuff or change what's already there. It has a few big maps with tons of oppertunities. There's a map or spot for everyone. whether it's the streets of philly or NYC; LES skatepark or their own indoor park.

The skating feels down to earth and real. Its controls aren't easy and it takes a while to get used to them. But once you've gotten a feel for it, you can start translating real life movements for the tricks to your sticks. If the controls or physics aren't to your likings, you can completely adjust them in the settings. There's so much options and settings to tweak.

Once you found a good spot and managed to set down a nice line, you can open up the replay editor and record your clip. It's a robust replay editor and after update 0.0.0.20, pretty amazing in how much you can do. creativity is the limit.

Overall, if you're looking for a modern realistic skating sim, look no further. You're not going to find anything better. This will hopefully become one of the memorable skating sims that could potentially revitalize the virtual skateboarding genre.
