This game is absolutely amazing, story, voice acting, feel and look. I didn't know what I was doing at first yet I still was VERY VERY invested in it.

This game is absolutely AMAZING for what it is.

1. You can farm premium currency by playing the game
2. The voice acting is perfect for what its supposed to be
3. Bugs feel alive and I don't even know whats happening so that means its good
4. There's Democracy and Orbital Strike

An absolutely amazing game.

Gameplay is great, Story is great.

Everything about it is just extremely good.

Needs some optimization now and then + crash fixes but overall its a solid experience!

Insanely enjoyable game!!!!

Atmosphere is on point, graphics are stunning, and runs well as heck ! Everything about it is just a positive so far for me. Must buy for a Gory Horror fan.

Vergil DLC is an absolute banger, I had so much fun its crazy...

Mostly was mashing buttons until i actually got some idea but even when it was just mashing buttons it still looked insanely badass while being incredibly fun.

So to start off, I truly love Vermintide 2 and knowing the background of the game, most stuff is to be expected considering the history of Fatshark.

I do not recommend this game in it's CURRENT STATE ( that would most likely change in around 1-2 years ).

1. Mechanics are pretty great but overall feel clanky due to "not the greatest" servers + hitboxes being beyond broken. Don't get me wrong, it's really nice to fight the hordes it really is, but the specials attacking from nowhere, berserkers shredding through you like your block doesn't exist, or straight up getting shot from every corner that perma stun locks you isn't contributing to this.

2. Optimization is beyond bad, like it's not even coming close. First base graphics look great, claiming that the game is GPU intensive while it's in reality insanely CPU intensive. Most of optimization flaws from VT2 weren't fixed, and I'm afraid won't be fixed. Now the aspect of RTX, which is beyond comedy how it's made. One - it doesn't change much in terms of graphical fidelity beyond cool reflections and rare shadow play. But the overall perfomance hit on RTX is worse than fully pathtraced realtime rendered games like Portal RTX. DLSS looks semi-decent but it doesn't improve much of perfomance to benefit in using RTX UNLESS you have ( which is laughable ) - 40 series GPU, and here with DLSS Frame Generation game runs flawlessly, which is laughable that we drop CPU optimization over tech, that is barely available to public. It's too obvious how it's made in here.

3. Coming from discord or any other social-media we are getting countless "Spicy Sauces" and all that janky stuff that has nothing to do with core game, over actual updates of what happens with "optimization" "updates" etc. We have 0 closure on what is going on, even tho we are promised so much including - crafting system, but that's another point. Radio-Silent.

4. We were promised so much yet we got content on pair with Early Access Kickstarter project. We don't even have something as basic crafting system 3 months into the launch. The game state is the same as Closed Beta, actually Closed Beta at least ran better with FPS. We didn't get anything delivered from what was promised after Closed Beta beside 3-4 maps that are the same maps just from different angles. Missing PROMISED once again PROMISED weapons. As I'm saying, I'm not expecting mountains from the start, but if we are already promising something, and working on hyping up really hard why not deliver what was promised when game was delayed already twice?



Overall game is really nice, core gameplay is great, music is awesome, potential is great. But it would be really nice if the game actually was what it's supposed to be, or at least we got some closure. I feel like we are just being beyond disrespected as consumers. I feel like this kind of behavior should be unacceptable on platform like Steam.

I am beyond disappointed Fatshark, you changed.

After recent update shop is semi-better, crafting is working yet no dismantling.
More maps helps a bit but still no private play.

After class overhaul, the game is like 10 times better. Tho optimization is really a bummer still. We are getting there!
